ok... just did testing on a T3 t2000... now it's time for the Ascendant Audio arsenal 15 with a 2.5" voice coil to see what it can do...

comparable subs (2.5" coil and comparable power handling):

Powerbass 2xl15 scored a 151.5dB (still good)

Powerbass m154 scored a 151.0dB (still good)

Digital Designs DD1515 did a 152.0dB (still good)

T3 Audio t600 did a 153.4dB (died after first burp)

and now for the Ascendant...

    all are dual 4 subs running in parallel (2 ohm).except the Z (dual 2 parallel to 1 ohm)

    just did more testing today... after 10 rolls at lower volume (still in the 147+dB range... we gave it all again with a slightly different box placement... :)

    enjoy...

    PS... Teresa on the windshield added nothing to the score...lol... she just wanted to sit on it... hahaha

    Noice. I love the DD sticker on the car yet it's AA putting up serious numbers. Nuthuggers around the world are cringing. :P Bwahahahahahaha!

    I was shocked at the results, but it didn't surprise me. It makes me want to and test a 15,myself, against other subs in its power class, and some that aren't.

    I planned to do a SPL build in a trunk, but long story in why I'm not anymore. I sure would of tried one of these though.
