  • Wow, nice build. However, you should have predrilled holes on a couple of pieces of wood. They split and will cause you some problems with SQ. Just ask, I'm sure somebody here will tell you that exact

That enclosure isnt going anywhere! Nice build.

haha yea it hardened up nicely when i checked on the way to work this morning.

i smelt like resin though at work LOL.

there is a small creek noise i keep hearing on the drivers side, but on the outside of the box. i think its just one of the 2x4's rubbing against something. i only hear it on bumps. i gotta get someone to drive while i get in the back and see what panel is creeking. lol

Tuned in to see your doors :D

Looks like I can learn something here.

lil sloppy, i stapled it with the panel still on the door so it wouldnt flex out of position.

then i took it off and resined and added a thick layer of mat in most areas, some 2 layers (under the 12 etc),,,tomorrow ill trim it up and start sanding and prally add one more layer of mat on the back side for re-enforcement. cant wait to have these things playing!!!!!!!!!!

oh and all the sharp edges from the baffles under the fabric will be filled with rage extreme, so it will all look nice once i complete the body work.

the edges of the panel are being fixed, and the other side will come out better (both will look great when finished) but i kinda made more work for myself the way i did the drivers one. oh well, still liking the overall way its turning out.

the panel itself did not warp one bit either, which i am very happy about.

Doors are looking good bro :fing34: Eagerly awaiting the finished product

Dang!! Awesome door build, nice glassing!! How far out does the 12 stick out of the door? Looks like you'd have trouble touching the peddles with that thing out there lol

This build is looking pretty damn awesome... Going to be one hell of a HHR thats for sure.

sorry, dont check forums much during the week. going to try and get alot of glass work done this weekend and get the doors prepped for fabric.

the 12s don't stick in the way of my leg room too bad even though it looks like it. i thought it was gonna be worse :)

Looking really good man, GL with the rest of the build!

got alot of body work ahead of me. just gave it a quick over with some 80 grit just to knock down the rough spots. i need to add more mat in some areas, most likely ill do that from the inside of the panel.

You know, as slow as I am, I have done about 5 builds since you started this. And many other smaller projects. Also built and tore down a haunted house.

You should just bring them to me and I will finish the bodywork so they actually get done.
