1 sa-15 ported in 3-3.5 cubes @ 30-35hz with 1500 watts in a wagon is it possible to do 140's on music

yes sir it is!

provided you have a proper install and do everything correctly!

now that 1500 is that a clamped number or just the ratting on the amp?: and what amp do you plan to use?

and what kind a wagon is this going into?

Either way, he's never going to see a constant 1500watts.

I believe he has a 1997 volvo t5 wagon

When I mentioned you not really seeing 1500watts, I simply said this because you aren't going to be playing tones, music is dynamic with peaks. And then there's impedance rise...

Not sure how much smaller your box will be for the sa15, guess your car would be 40-50lbs lighter :ughdunno:

3CUBES @ 30 HZ should sound good i hope now i just have to sell the skar's

honestly bro your sound system will have no dramatic change in weight or output. sounds like a waste of money imo. although i am bias, sundown all the way, i just think youll be wasting time and money switching from 2 12s with same wattage to 1 15.

i should save 50lbs i will have around 13-1400 going to the sa-15 and the box will be over a cube smaller and i havnt used a 15 in years last one i had was a 15 mofo on 1200 watts in a trunk

yup, up to you. i was just saying IMO having to sell 2 subs, then buy 1, then build a box all for around the same output and 50lbs lighter. totally not worth it to me. let us know how it goes.

Agreed. But whatever floats his boat :ughdunno:

A smaller box, a single sub instead of 2 : I can understand what you want. A more functional car; lighter with a little room in the trunk.

Go for it !!! But you will not be louder IMO.
