ITS ABOUT TIME. Officially today I finally purchased an 05 black GTI 1.8. So far I am in love with this small little packed hatchback. Overall the body is in excellent condition compared to other GTI's i test drove/looked at. Not to mention the interior is perfect. It is a manual and the clutch feels much better than my Evo.

Build log will get started either tonight or tomorrow morning. I am ready and hopefully will be done before Slamology.

Audio Equipment will include:

DC XL 12s (red caps)

Crescendo bc5500

XS batteries

-D3100 in back, D3400 in front.

DC power SP alt.

Lots of deadener (Starting this tomorrow with the hatch.)

Enclosure is 3.4cu ft w/ front 6x6 acrylic window. (Already built)

Oxygen highs/ Sundown 100.2

CDA 117

Alot of this equipment is ordered and ready to be installed.

Thats all for the time being. I got some work to do..

Bare with me. Taking pics at night sucks ass, so tomorrow ill get some good shots. Sean I was going to come to you for a design if this box didnt fit. Since the enclosure takes up all the room in the trunk as in width/ depth. I am goining to prop the box up 3 inches and have the amps underneath.

Sweet a&& ride. Should be a real head turner once your done. Congrats. :fing34:

They are called VW Golf in my country. We have a lot of them and they always have good bass. I don't know if it is because of their shape, but any boombox can sound good and loud in them !

Congratulations for the car and the equipments !

GTI is the performance version. Mmmmm turbo

MORE PICS!!!

LOL, I noticed my Civic has more of a "weighted" feel to it

Nice and Clean! I always like the looks and performance of those cars as well. They seem to have more room in the hatch area than I expected. Tuned in.

You had an evo and now a GTI. Nice ride collection man. Thats my favorite gen of golf. That system will be awesome

There will be alot more pics later on today after work. Picked up a XS D3100 from Hove yesterday...wow never seen one of those before and I have to say the weight comparison between that and a Kinetik 2400 isnt even close.
