I recently installed a pair of Kenwood component speakers in my 00 Trans Am's doors, but for some reason didn't think about the crossovers that came with the speakers till after the install :ughdunno: The original ones are hooked up but just want to know if I should pull it apart and replace them with the right ones or will the original ones be ok?

So you have Kenwood speakers wired to a factory head unit? If that Is the case you should be fine.

If you have your Kenwood's wired to an amplifier you should use the crossovers that were packaged with the Kenwood components.

I would use the ones that came with the speakers, sure you could use the factory ones, but I'm sure it would sound better using the crossovers that were designed for the kenwood speakers.

Afterall, speakers are crossed at different points for a reason...

Thanks for the replies. Guess I'll tear into it and replace 'em.
