Posted June 21, 201114 yr Small enclosures and small cabin area. I'm thinking about buying a truck like a ford ranger extended cab or a chevy colorado extended cab and I want to know what sub works best in conditions like small areaI don't want to wall out my backseats but I'm willing to take them out to get best effiwncy out of my subI know the nightshade works good in small enclosures but what else does? Thanks.
June 21, 201114 yr I can suggest sundown subs as their normal required box sizes are typically smaller than other normal woofers.
June 21, 201114 yr oh yea man those are some nice subs, thank god they didnt get stolen with your car. Have you hooked them up yet? do you not like them? id take em if i had the money
June 21, 201114 yr Your car just got stolen.......take some time to chill before you start thinking of a rebuild. My advice is keep the NS's and if your next car cant fit two just run one and sell the other.
June 21, 201114 yr gas is not cheap 50... I'd slow down and focus on vehicle purchase first.... just a thought...
June 21, 201114 yr Author Lol true. I was just itching a idea in my head. You guys are absolutely right, I need my car first. @eggy my goal is sq and to have fun with it. No type of wanting spl or crazy dv's or competition. Just some nice power in my car. And I know, the nightshade is a spl woofer, but I want power too lol
June 21, 201114 yr hey angel i gots a smaller sub that you would love to trade for that nightshade, nice and shallow hahaha
June 21, 201114 yr Author trade you a bl in a ported box for one of them ns's sorry, cant talk about trade or selling unless we're in the for sale forum. just following rules but i think im going to keep both nightshades, and work hardddd to get the money and buy myself a truck, then, ill have a crazy build log for you guys
June 21, 201114 yr Admin Confucius says:The best subwoofer to use in a small enclosure, is a smaller subwoofer
