You are going to LOVE these subs, I got one hooked up to a rf t1500-1bd and it sounds amazing!

as much as I love bass.. I could not imagine 2 sa12's with the right amount of power.. the one I have is beastly with 1200 watts :D

Yeah you'll like them. I've got a pair d2 wired at .7ohms a brutus amp and the slam pretty hard.....which voice coils did u get?

well its in :) words can not say how happy i am with the quality of this sub !!! have it on my computer sub output free airing on about 25watts lol 40-20hz letting it slowly break in

its vibrating my whole work bench !! "computer tech" and i am at work lol

i went for 4ohm so when i get the other i can run 1ohm will be buying my other today or tomorrow :) i think this 1 will blow my 2 jl's away cant wait to see what it does with 2

after doing this for about 3 hours the tapping noise from the first vid not sure what it was is almost completely gone very happy with this sub !!!

and another on the way !! took the jl's out blocked off one chamber and installed the sa she hits just has hard as both of the jls !!

What JL's did you have? I have owned a 12W3v2 and a 12W6v2 and I am really looking into getting 2 SA-12's. I am a big SQ guy and how would they compare to your old subs?

i have the jl 12w3v2 a pair of them in a 3 cube box tuned to 34hz i took a banket and stuffed the one side full and mounted the sa-12 in the other side and as im still trying to be easy with it breaking it in properly its already hitting just as hard and sound quality is just about the same i love it and cant wait for the other to come :) then its going to be time for a new box and a bigger amp

how does everyone feel about the ap18001d or the ap15001d ? or is there something else that will feed these guys the power they want for around the same price ?

The audiopipes are very decent for the price and they actually do rated power but if you can afford it I'd go with a sundown saz-1500d.

wish i could afford a sundown 1500 lol right now about the best i could do would be the audioque 1200 i have heard from many that those are a very respectable amp and i like the clip light feature as i dont need to blow my sundowns lol im just having a hard time parting with $300 over $150 for about the same power ?

I wouldn't trust those clip lights. At all. They're pretty innacurate. If you really did want a sundown amp you could buy refurbished or used.

whose got the refurbs ? i checked db-r and nothing in stock with sundown being under rated think i would be good with a 1200 ?

Db-r is what I was referring to. I haven't checked their stock so I don't know what they have right now. Eventually they'll get some more amps in if you wanted to wait. I also remember seeing an sae-1000 for sale on here. If that's still available I think itd be a good match for a pair of SA's

i would be afraid of pushing an sae-1000 to hard i like to leave come headroom like i do with my dj equip :)

well guys cant find a sundown in my price range :( although i did find an ap30001d for 220 bucks shipped ?? would it be ok to go with that as long as i watch my voltage and gains ?

would hate to pay 200 for an 18001d when i could get the 3000 for about the same price

nvm as i will be stupid and blow my subs with it lol i think im just going to go with the ap15001d for now and upgrade later if she blows its got to be better then my power acoustik ovn1-2000d that says it does 1250 @ 1 yet has 2x30amp fuse's lol

i did email him and his price is firm on the 1500 im lookin at 359.99 plus 24.00 ship im sure its worth it but just out of my budget

if anyone knows where i could get one used or refurb for 300 or so shipped id be happy lol
