if he doesnt have problems, there really isnt a reason to mess with something that works...

Ground problems aren't always apparent at first.

He stated earlier that he was having problems(didn't read every reply afterwards).

He also stated he's getting a new amp soon which I'm assuming will be pulling more power which will only make a small ground problem much larger.

The amp I have now isn't 2ohm stable, so I need one that is. After a couple things I've learned from this thread and put into use, the amp doesn't shut off and go into protection like it use to. So at least I don't have that problem until I get a new amp.

It would be a huge help if someone could give me a couple examples of amps that would be good for my setup,

Thanks for everyones help! Zack

Knowing your budget would help tremendously when trying to recommend an amp.

You have 500 watts from that amp ? You can use 2000 watts for those 2 subs ! You should notice an improvment in output with 4 times the power !!!

Look at those : Kicker 1500, Alpine mrp 2000, Stetsom 1k5 or 2k5 (2 Ohms models), 2 Alpine pdx 1000,...even the Audiopipe 3000 ! Those are not cheap, but you have very nice subs, it would be a pitty to have a POS amp ! Save some money, and use the amp you have until you're ready to buy a better one !

Witout your budget, it is hard to tell you where to look at seriously.

this fucking guy.

Is rather hilarious, now he thinks he gives the best advice ever since you busted him in one thread about giving crappy advice.

but its funny now.. every one seems to agree that a new amp is in order REGARDLESS>. and as i stated before he EVER SAID SHIT on this topic.. TURN your bass down.

then POOF the audio wizard shows up and tells me i have no clue what im talking about and ADVISES that the OP SHOULD run his amp in a WAY ITS NOT MADE TO BE RAN.. just because,....... no better reason ,... other then JUST CAUSE jon told you other wise...

fucking jerk off.

well im not gunna spend more on an amp then i did my entire system. the amp i have works fine now, it isnt huge but it sounds good.

i dont plan on spending more then 3 or 4 hundred bucks

can i wire two amps together or is it better to have just 1

I would say at your skill level you should stick with one amp. 3-400 bucks can buy you a great amp. or if you want to spend less maybe check around for maybe a used amp in the classifieds

Probably something that makes 750-1000 (give or take) or so at 2 ohms
