Just FYI, there is a customer who has a DC 9.0k @1ohm on each of his DC level6s for daily without thermal issues.

It's possible. The drivers are there.. The new subs made by.. can't remember buildhouse name are being made for Cadence and some other companies.

They are rated at 6,000wrms.

Im anxious to get all my ducks in a row and test.

On that note I'm really contemplating a new build. Maybe 8 15s on 4 7.5ks

I switched to two 7.5s because having 4 amps stacked so tight was causing major heat soak issues.

2 7.5s made the most sense. 2 9ks would mean 2 less batteries. I can fit 9 g31s as it sits now. All about compromise.

If I was you, I would have run 4 9ks also.

I only have 3 at the moment.

Managed a 155@42hz with 3 subs.

I am happy to report that the subs stay very cool concidering there getting probably around 6k+ watts each.

The zcons did get warm with that much.

My amps are strapped at .66 (.33 each) and you couldnt melt an icecube on them. Much better thsn the 5ks I had.

I'm going to try to play with the port tomorrow and.se if I can get the numbers up for the show this weekend.
