Nothing against Rusty, but it still boggles my mind why people buy DC, when Fi exists..... Think about it for a moment.

This opens a can of worms.

Why buy SSA when Fi exists?

The similarities are striking. The various product lines are nearly identical in price. Why would Fi design and build better subs than their own for another company and sell them at the same price?

I think you're getting away from what Denim was trying to say..

I think Denim was trying to say, why buy from DC if those subs are from the same design of a guy that made them however many years ago? 6? If you could get the subs that he's designed in the last 6 months. Obviously the designs -should- be better because he's been doing it for a longer time period, not to mention you're keeping the money in the U.S.

Different models, different needs, different price points. BOTH modern designs made here in the USA.

Looks like a great system, would love if you could get a better video though. The reason for me choosing DC is because I have had experience with both the generation 2 UFO style BTL and a similar product from DC... overall in my opinion the XL sounds better. Obviously install varies from vehicle to vehicle. Not to mention Rusty was MUCH easier to get in contact with.

I can't say much about the engineering behind DC but does it matter they use older ingenuity. What is wrong with that?

Also, I find it comical how ANY thread on here about DC gets referred back to RE's engineering. Suprised my DC GTI didnt have any responces..

Not to mention I purchased my XLs for LESS than a single BTL N2...

yeah paul said that he went with DC because they responded to him first on all his calls and emails. he tried Fi, ascendent, and incriminator, but DC responded to him first. said it took weeks before any of the others contacted him back. as for the vid sorry didnt get a new one but i will and will post here :)

That's weird, each time I've e-mailed Nick @ Fi the latest he responds to me is the next business day.
