I'm not saying anything, just throwing this out there for people to draw their own conclusions.

This may, or may not have been what my friend said.

DAMN!! I need to go get a couple dollar set of LED's to see where things start to clip :fing34:

Lets see whats inside, open her up!

Which outputs were used, rca or speaker?

More info is needed to draw any kind of conclusion as to what is going on here other than a strip of LED's hooked to a H/U.

Speaker wires directly out the radio.

Everything set to flat or off directly as DD-1 manual says.

Well i guess that method is useless to a H/U with no built in amplifier then. :lol2::peepwall:

Please do that, we were going to but the Scope was having issues and wouldn't read the signal at all. lol

The radio has a built in amp.

where did you get the LED strip from?? maybe i can get the same LED's to make sure they are the same.....i know most LED's can only handle a couple of volts....have you tried with a 40htz tone? with just the deck

Guys, LEDs will forward bias off an AC signal, you don't need DC for them to work..... I would delete/edit your video.

There are about 10 billion of them operating off of 60Hz in all types of nice Christmas colors as we speak....
