April 3, 201213 yr Have you checked out singer alts from mike singer? Prices are less expesive than both and are great from what I've HEARD. I haven't used any of the 3 but I will most likely be getting a singer alt for my trailblazer. He has lifetime warranty.
April 4, 201213 yr Author Get DC if you want to wait about a year to get your alt. singer has a 400a ALT 225 at idle ?????????

April 4, 201213 yr who runs there stereo at idle>?My demo truck when at an outside show.why,... the cooling of the alternator is reduced by 50% .... let alone the reduced output
April 4, 201213 yr As I stated before, DC is you want to wait for a year. Mechman couldn't offer me enough Amps at idle, nor could singer at that time, but now they have a new 6g model, so Singer would be a great choice. But I would also recommend Ohio Gen, that is who I'm running with.
