well my wife gives me a hard time for having subwooers in my ride , she thinks im to old for it im 45 and still love loud music i think i will allways have a system in my car , love to hear your responses

I'm 42 and am just as passionate about it as I was at 17!

we've got clubmember who competes and he's 42

I started learning about audio when I was 13. Had stereo equipment in my first vehicle before I was legally able to drive it, and now at nearly 33yo I don't see myself EVER settling with a stock stereo system, no way. I too will likely always be installing aftermarket audio for as long as I am able to do so.

I turned 40 last year and love my music load and clear. If I want to keep the wife and kids happy, I just play the stuff they like.

Nice!

i'm in my early 30s , back in my teens & very early 20s i couldnt afford a good car so didnt even a ride of my own to put music in

then when i bought my own car i started really getting into it & competing , of course i had to have it loud to be doing some numbers too but for daily use : honestly a single sub or 2 off 1000wrms is sufficient for me smile.png

I'm 78 and I still shake the neighborhood. Showing them kids whats up.

Never too old, if anything, you have to turn it up more as your hearing goes. ;)

Lmao, just had a vision of this-

naw, never too old man.

HELL NO YOUR NEVER TO OLD!!

I'm 40, I have the money, knowledge, tools and patients to do what I want.

I didn't when I was younger.

I'm sure your wife has/does a few things you could complain about as well, If you really want to go down that road.

What I do when my wife gives me the eye is make here help me carry my sub box. That usually keeps her away for a while. You are never too old for audio.

Never too old, I've met a lot of forum guys who were a lot older than I would have ever imagined.

And, usually very knowledgeable too.
