Posted May 14, 201213 yr My 12" icon took some damage when I had my backpack in the trunk and it punctured a hole in the dust cap. The hole is small and I can't tell any auditory differences in the subs performance so is it worth repairing?
May 14, 201213 yr If it bothers you hit up Mark or Aaron. A new dust cap shouldn't cost much as long as only the dust cap was damaged.
May 14, 201213 yr If you would like to replace it and would like a much stronger dustcap I would shoot Duran a PM
May 14, 201213 yr Broken dust caps can cause subs to perform differently, as it is a leak source... I'd get a replacement, should be cheap.
May 15, 201213 yr i would epoxy it back and get a new dust cap and replace it whenever. it will look ugly but still get down
