I have been trying to figure out a good 32hz box for two jl audio 12w6v2 but so far no one has been able to help me without saying i can build on for you. I already have all the wood and other stuff so i would like to make it myself. If anyone can help me please let me know

You can purchase a design from one of the box builders on this forum and then build it your self. The design should not cost much. I think the ssa store sells box designs as well, check it out.

First get some proper measurements. The ones that you posted seemed way off. I could be wrong but I can't see an eclipse having 30+ inches of height.

www.ram-designs.com can also give you some great designs

I've got the one I mentioned in your other thread already designed. I just needed confirmation on what orientation is optimal for the car before drawing it up and getting if and the cut sheet posted up for you. You said the measurements I posted would fit, so I think that's all I need.

I apologize for that and yes you are correct, my trunk width was actual 37" instead of 41" and my height is actually 26" instead of 31". I didn't take into fact that their are two side humps that shrink the width of my trunk and their is a hump behind my back seat that shrinks the width. I'm pretty sure my depth measurements are correct though

I understand, it's no problem.

We just need someone to verify the best orientation for the car and I can get it ready for you.

How should i do that

Same way you already have. Post up the question and see what kinds of answers you get.

No one who's posted in the other thread has mentioned anything about orientation for that car.

I would guess port and subs forward myself.

Ohh, well if it helps any i have had quite a few people tell me the same thing, i asked a similar question a few months back and i had a few guys tell me i should have my subs pointing back because it can help reduce port noise if i used the jls measurements

In that case, take a look at this.

It's a no fills enclosure. There's no double baffle on it and I've not drawn in any kind of bracing. There's a little extra internal volume for some 1.5" dowels rods if you want to use them, otherwise it's just a basic box. 34" W x 14" H x 23.25" D and is 3.5cuft NET tuned to 32hz with 56.25sqin of port area.

See what you think and if there's any changes that need made we'll get you something finalized once you're happy with it and I'll post up the cutsheets with it.
