Posted January 7, 201312 yr I'm running 2 Sundown Audio sa15s and my amp has quit on me. I can get a sundown saz 1500 and a RF Power T1500-1bdcp for the same price. Which one would you guys recommend??
January 7, 201312 yr Both amps are great. For the same price I'd go with the Fockford amp. It's subsonic filter isn't as flexible as the sundown's so make sure it fits your application. Good to see you interested in a higher quality amp than the Hifonics HiFi series.
January 7, 201312 yr There are 2 brand new saz1500 v3s in the classifieds. Check that out. Either one would be great for your subs.
January 7, 201312 yr For less money than the 1500's you could get the Audio Que 2200D! crazy sale on them right now.http://soundqubed.com/AQ2200D-Amplifier_p_31.html
January 7, 201312 yr I would choose the sundown over the r/f simply because of the variable ssf.The aq is also a good buy.
January 8, 201312 yr Author i'm looking to keep it around 1500 watts rms..do you guys have any other suggestions that might be a better direction to go with?
January 8, 201312 yr They sell factory direct so basically you get to buy like a dealer or when there is a sale you get to buy like a distributor.Wow, it does 50% more power for less money. How is that possible? Edited January 8, 201312 yr by USAMPFREAK
January 10, 201312 yr I have 2 crescendo bc2000s and I love them. They definitely put out the power. Here's your answer .
January 10, 201312 yr would i better off with the sundown or the crescendo?Of those 2, I'd buy the cheaper one, but I'd still prefer the Rockford.
January 10, 201312 yr would i better off with the sundown or the crescendo?Better off how? Both amps put out power that will make your sub produce bass. Either amp will do the job and the power difference won't be heard. Just pick which ever amp you can afford, simple as that.
January 14, 201312 yr Author I went ahead and ordered an SAZ2500. Got a deal on it that I couldn't pass up! Can't Wait!!
January 14, 201312 yr Congrats on the purchase of a quality amp. It's nice to see people new to the hobby learn and follow advice, I love this forum.
