I hate hitting refresh on my newegg order page all day to see it hasn't moved.

And no, not obsessively looking is not an option.

I started early with kids so I could be young enough to relate with them. Always felt sorry for kids with too many generation gaps from their parents.

I should be empty nesting it by 41!!!

My brother has a 6mo old and is 45.

In laws have a 4yr old and are mid/later 50's.  Theres a story to that one though.

Raising a grand kid?

Luckily I still act like I am 10

Exactly. That's my point.

I can guess you had super strict parents.

Yes, but why do you guess?

I can think of a list of reasons. :)

The point was you can relate with intolerance and the lack of empathy. The ridged "absolute" way of thinking that an older parent will impose on their child.

Not to say there is anything wrong with it. Everything is relative. A good balance is all you can really strive for.

Bingo.

Meh, whatever.

If I end up wanting kids later I'll go buy myself one of the urge overcomes me.

Meh damn empty nest comment got me off track. I think we where talking about a vacation without them anyways Matt. So your solid there.

I removed the Jeep's turbo after the failure in September...

Looks mint, right?IMG_6707.jpg

Shaft snappedIMG_6709.jpgIMG_6711-1.jpgIMG_6713.jpg

Another stock turbo gets installed today, then I'm starting to piece up what I need for the VNT upgrade. Screw fixed geometry and small turbos

Turbos and onions!

That thing got angry.

Hopefully be driving the mustang soon. Get a few spins in before winter.

Lowered the motor 1/2" and stoutened up the front towers with the Ron Morris mounts. Installed the front crossmember that ties the lower control arms together. Made a huge difference. A few more parts and she will be ready for an alignment.

The question at the minute is what carb to buy. Theres a wore out edelbrok 600 on the stock manifold currently. The cam that's installed has a hefty lobe and a 2500 stall torque converter. Pretty much no manifold vacuum pressure to speak of.

Thinking a Holley 600 or 650. A 600 would probably be best for where I want the powerband. The guy in me says bigger is better though.

Already have an edelbrock air gap dual plan manifold to install. What carb to bolt on top of that 289?

2 really sick co workers.

Had to fill in for one of my managers and then my assistant manager had a relapse of some dizzy spells. Rushed over there to relieve him and had to close a store for at least a couple hours.

Aaaaaaaaaaand I forgot to take my fucking enbrel!

While I'm glad that is isn't a big deal and not a work thing, forgetting to take my joint saving miracle injection is not good. One argument with the wife and I losses half the shit I needed to do in my head.

LoL

This one time at band camp...

Doing HazMat drills and all of a sudden my carotid just starts fucking pounding. They get me out of the moon suit and my air pack off and stick a BP cuff on my arm. 81 over 50. Dafaq.

Wouldn't let me continue the exercise even after I sat inside with the A/C cranked for half an hour. PUT ME IN COACH! C'MON MAN!

Still only back up to 107 over 50 even after chugging a 20 oz. Mtn Dew.
