November 21, 201410 yr I don't mind working some holidays, most all I can except for Christmas Eve and Christmas day. Although as a salaried employee I get paid 3.5x my base for 12hrs and they feed you.

November 21, 201410 yr I do leave it attached basically all winter as it was so gross and dirty I didn't like taking it off. The ML had an aluminum one on it, but the key that locked it on was rusted shut so upon selling it I didn't have time to take it off.
November 21, 201410 yr They make some good aluminum. Fatigue life becomes something you have to care about, but when its engineered properly it doesn't matter for this kind of application.
November 21, 201410 yr I didn't know aluminum came tough enough.There is new sheet aluminum at the same thickness out that is as strong as the steel they used in cars in the 60's. Ok, not quite out but expect to see it this year.
November 21, 201410 yr In this case it is solid and "only" rated to 8000lbs which exceeds anything I tow.
