So Bitdefender... Does anyone use it? If so, what OS and what is your usual browser?

I have 15 days to re-up my Kaspersky Internet Security or go elsewhere. I did my usual visit to AV-Test to compare/contrast AVs. I was surprised to see that overall Avira was rated best, but that is working on Win8 rigs. I have used it in the past, but it has been 4 years or so. I am not opposed to Avira, but it is rated 3rd overall for Win7, with Bitdefender and Kaspersky earning top honors. Plus, for the 3 rigs I will be protecting, it becomes the most expensive as multiple licenses will need to be purchased.

AV-Test shows Bitdefender as the best for Win7. I have a few rigs, the Win7 being most important to me, so suddenly I am intrigued. My work rig is Win8/7 dual booted and frequently has AV turned off when I am flashing PCMs. While it is an important rig, it is not my most vital. I am looking at  the Internet Security product in particular. While 2013 and 2014 showed slight reduction in system performance, it was nominal, and 2014/2015 showed no effect on system performance, also posting perfect scores in protection and usability. Usability doesn't matter tremendously to me as I am used to some issues when I crack... errr, when I am validating many products I use.

So what is your hands on take on Bitdefender? I have never used it (odd, as I have used several on the AV-Test list), so some hands on user input would help me make my decision.

She receives a stack of college invites every week. Wants to study business or possibly medical. She had went to visit Bethany in Kansas back in November as they have a great medical, but I guess she wasn't feeling it. Lol

Teenagers. Although I will help guide her to her decision I will not make it for her.

Boring town.

Just can't be capt steady and go down the trail at 40mph without burping the flipper. Considering how many times she was airborn today I don't foresee that as a problem.

Mad jelly bro

<- Never used AV. Sorry. Only advice I have is that Norton is a pain in the ass for all the machines I've seen it on.

Top ways to get a virus (in order):

downloading and running some shit

downloading and running some shit

did I say downloading and running some shit

zero-day exploit on Java, Adobe Reader, Flash, or browser. Eg three months ago there was a vulnerability found in windows 8.1 that led to privilege escalation. Google reported it to MS and gave them 90 days to patch it and release an update. MS did nothing, so Google released the exploit publicly, forcing MS to deal with it.

Use a virtual machine for testing out cracked software so you can make sure it doesn't come with any viruses, and if it does than you know and it didn't fuck your shit up. Fuck IE, only use it if some bullshit software requires IE (though in that circumstance I would just spoof the IE user agent in Firefox or Chrome).

So keep Java, Adobe, and browser updated and use a VM for testing possible sketch apps and you'll likely never have to deal with viruses.

Snow is horseshit.  If it weren't for that inch we got last night we would have been overheating everywhere.  Trails shouldn't even be open....

I tried 4 different trail heads, all boo.  Was hoping they were better so I could have hit a few more ditches.  Visibility was tough too, but I have a new favorite shit visibility lens.  Tried out a Rose and DAMN.

So I need to get my head unit warrantied. I'm contemplating getting rid of it all together, since I only use Bluetooth from my phone. Crutchfield sells a few Bluetooth to rca receivers. Add a Pac knob or to use as volume control and call it a day.

Not sure if I want to add a second mini dsp or just use the amp crossovers..

I was ranked #3 area manager in the great plains region and 81 nationwide.

:-D

No other AM in the state made the top 10 last period. 20% growth in my stores from the quarter I took over to the last 2 quarters, and at least 30% growth on LY.

Fuck yeah.

Congrats ! ! ! :woot:

They are likely to kill you in your sleep for no reason because red hair amplifies the crazy women naturally have and they are soulless dementors?

Hey fucker I have red hair, and I'm not soulless lol

Yes, you are. As are my soon to be ex-wife and youngest son.

His referrence was to redheads with vaginas. I am going to assume you do not have a vagina.

One should never assume... Look how defensive he/she got... Classic vagina move.

Me? If so I wasnt getting defensive, but just joking around

I've used the following in my truck for the past couple of years.

it goes into a H701 processor.

While I'm thinking about, who's making good TV's nowadays? Pioneer is long gone and Panasonic has abandoned the plasma market. Guess now there's only LED's and LCD's to choose from.
