January 16, 201510 yr Klim stuff normally rocks, but the Elite glove is a joke. Even at $40 I'd feel ripped off. They are uber comfortable for aggressive riding, but if it gets cold they suck donkey dick. Literally the worst glove I have for real cold and I have 6 pairs atm. The next most expensive was $40 Let's say I only want them to be durable and for "cool" weather? And what about with a liner? My hands don't get cold really, but sledding might be different. I rode 3 hours in perforae leather gloves in 30 degree weather on the crotch rocket. I did have to hold one hand on the engine and ride with the other at times....what do you mean by durable? ie, are you doing work in them? If so, moisture management is important. In the spring sometimes I ride without gloves for hours. Rather amazing what happens to the body.Gloves with liners are absolutely pointless IMO.When I snowblow or shovel I break into a sweat. I have ruined 2 pair of wonder gloves moving sticks and such in the yard. These are tough Fuckers with a lifetime garuntee. They also fit great. So when you say they don't help in the cold, do you mean down to negative 10 or negative 50 and for how long? For warmth alone I am good in simple leather and fur gloves down to some pretty cold temps. But they are horrible for any kind of work.My NON insulated gloves are warmer. They suck. Their warranty regrettably has taken a dump the past couple years. I'd peak at the Motorfist options if that is your need....although I've never tried them on. I also think that your hands might even have a problem in the XXXL Klim as they are shaped weird. So weird.... Everyone at the shop raved about them. I'm only an XL.Tiny hands for my size.:-)
January 16, 201510 yr They also don't stop water.Neither do the Klims. For working I'd really look at moisture control MUCH more than warmth.Gortex and waterproof leather fail that bad? That's crazy bro!
January 16, 201510 yr Ha, I'm 6'1" 220lbs and where a size 7 shoe. Hands are similar.Whoa! How do you stay standing!?
January 16, 201510 yr I'm gonna dunk my hand in the glove underwater.I believe your glove did a bad job, but my motorcycle gloves keep water out when I wax/grease them up.I want to love these gloves. They fit and feel good plus ceramic leather!?Bro! Ceramic leather.
January 16, 201510 yr Popular Post Finally finished up the engine on the mustang. Cleaned and painted the engine bay. New Holley DP'er, air gap manifold, HO water pump, aluminum radiator, and Powermaster 1 wire alternator. Installed new hoses, battery tray, cleaned up the wiring and loom. Now Its time to get the timing curve and Holley dialed in!

I need the low profile with the air gap manifold. Thats with the motor lowered a 1/2". The Holley DP is like the Lego of carbs. I still have a ton of tuning to do, so hadn't even bothered putting it on yet.

January 16, 201510 yr Using a planner again is awkward and painful. It's like a blowjob with a toothy chick. You know it will get better when you have her trained up.... But it's not exactly wonderful in the beginning.

That's crazy bro!I'm sweaty. They do NOT breath. Sure they are waterproof, but breathable is more important. I bring a second pair if I need to dig myself out so my riding ones dno't get wetter.
