Everything with the caveat of "for my area" What's good to plant? When to plant? What to put in your garden? When to fertilize? How often should you really water? What signs does the plant show of being healthy or sick? For a corollary, this is what I read the first time I made pasta dough. I really enjoyed reading lots of ins and outs so I could recognize my rookie mistakes as I was making them and correct for it. https://www.seriouseats.com/2015/01/best-easy-all-purpose-fresh-pasta-dough-recipe-instructions.html

May 25, 20205 yr Corticosteroids steroids will reduce inflammation but cause water retention and excess tissue growth. Usually not cool tissue like muscles when you take testosterone. It's all the bad with none of the business. However if you're about to die from inflamation, corticosteroids are pretty damn amazing.
May 25, 20205 yr Listened to at least 50 hours of lectures while skimming papers for the last week. Almost no men are affected by this and its healthcare so it's so female centric already. No male voices is really odd. I wonder how many men are real bad asses and just never complain about stuff and suck it up? Yikes.

LOL Until the damage is too severe to fix, keep going. The number of 'in my day we didn't so now you can't' is insane. J

I will start with things I eat often. corn, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, squash, carrots, salad, potatoes, cantaloupe, watermelon. Then grab whatever looks interesting from there. When to plant? After the last freeze. According to Google it should be about mid March for Texas. Some crops you should be able to produce twice in your long season. if you are starting plants from seed you would want to start them about two months before hand. Beyond that when they start putting plants out at the stores in your area that is a good indicator. Also some plants you will sow right in the soil, like corn and carrots. What to put in your garden? Pretty much anything other than root vegetables. They seem to do better in individual pots. Plant accordingly. You don’t want corn or a tall tomato plant in front of your short plants. When to fertilize? Ideally one would turn the bed a couple months before planting season. And add manure and straw/leafs/cotton burr. If the soil compacts easy I will add perlite. Then keep moist. If there are no worms when you are turning the bed that’s not a good sign. I gather worms when it rains and add them to the beds. Otherwise can buy bagged compost if manure/straw etc is not available. Adds up quick though. Then will fertilize when planting and again once a month. I found a wicked good organic fertilizer I will post a pic. How often should you really water? This depends on climate and location. If it is hot and windy you may need to water every day. they make a moisture sensor if it will help you get comfortable. I’ll post a pic. Will also post a pic of my irrigation system for ideas. What signs does the plant show of being healthy or sick? healthy will have lots of new green growth. Sick could show a bunch of different signs. I would not worry about the sick side until you have encountered. Then it will be as you said and a learning lesson from there. For a corollary, this is what I read the first time I made pasta dough. I really enjoyed reading lots of ins and outs so I could recognize my rookie mistakes as I was making them and correct for it.

May 25, 20205 yr Picked some wild asparagus yesterday. Near the farm. Going to go back when it stops being eaten and harvest the roots to transplant here
May 25, 20205 yr This is a short time frame post. I'm trying to source a few more pieces for a friend's birthday this weekend. Anyone have any of the following they'd be willing to sell for a solid price? The older and more 'rustic' looking the better. He has been unable to source materials due to this lock down, and him being a cancer survivor, he has been kept home for a hot minute. Supplies are low, and pricing around here (if you can find a damn thing) is insane. -Old gauges -Machine chains -Unusual nuts and bolts -Speaker baskets -Fly wheels -Cranks -Old circular saw blades J

May 28, 20205 yr I also got something figured out for the gift. My old roommate's dad had 2 lumber mill saw blades, about 30 ft of HEAVY railroad chain, and some other metal goodies. She drove it down to me last night. Her younger brother wanted a guitar so I swapped him a guitar for the stuff. Win-win for everyone. J
