That's pretty shady being you hustled to get there for the job. How's Florida treating you otherwise?

768 holes drilled in the bumper and countersunk. Time to primer them and after I get back from the roadtrip and finish up the bumper I'll send it in for powdercoating :)

Why did you drill holes in your bumper???

Edited by dem beats

I NEED a vacation in bad fucking way. Wifeys summer semester is killing all possibility's. Haven't even de-winterized  the ATV's or the boat.

Answer sheets can be wrong...

I agree. Has been awhile since I was in a classroom so was making sure I wasn't missing something. Why is there an underscore in the equation? Does it have a purpose?

What is x and what is the formula? Is for wifeys math class and I haven't been to school in almost 20 years. lol

x + 13 =21

21-13=8.

X=8

J

The answer is 29 according to the cheat sheet? WTF does the underline mean?

Move all terms containing x to the left, all other terms to the right.

add -13 to each side of the equation

13 + -13 + x = 21 + -13

combine like terms

13 + -13 = 0

0 + x = 21 + -13

x = 21 + -13

21 + -13 = 8

x = 8

29? THE PRICE IS WRONG, BITCH

Yea no shit. Considering I skimped out on getting my other sleeve done for this....yea I am pissed off.

I cannot blame my direct info source as he is in a similar WTF boat as I am. But the dude who is fucking with this? He shall get his.

Other than this, FL has been nice and relaxing, the dog has adjusted well and I am hunting for a place to live once my shit arrives.

Why did you drill holes in your bumper???

I'm guessing airflow to his intercooler.

Indeed! Thanks to Mopar's design, it's sitting behind the bumper with no vents. I couldn't find thick mesh, so I drilled holes in my 1 euro bumper laugh.png

I'm going to turn up the fuel. 2 people here have reported that the car with a tune is no longer a dog. I can't get a tune for mine since it doesn't have an ECU, so I have to go old-school on the fueling.

A sales guy just talked me out of buying the 70-200 IS.

He literally said the IS is worthless unless you are moving, and usually only when you AND the subject are moving.

Mind blown.

Challenged me to bring in my camera and try both. He will grab a new one and we will test.

There is a reason for this. I bet there is a greater vacuum of air being pulled under the bumper than wind just hitting the front.

Probably, the intercooler fan shroud is part of the radiator shroud and the fan pulls air through the intercooler too. But it's small compared to having cool airflow at speed. For the oil cooler I had to open up a hole behind it since it was just sitting between the bumper and the front crossmember.

Anyway, knowing Mopar and how they made sure everything is up to the task, I think letting air in is the best idea. Heat soak is very very obvious. And seeing intake temps 120F above ambient definitely means that there is room for improvement.

For instance if it was (X+13)/2=21 then X would equal 29

AND your the lucky winner!! LOL  The fucking printer cut the 2 off...Was wondering why the fuck it had an underscore. Thanks Mikey!

...I have no idea what that is, but it scares me.

You obviously haven't seen me in the gym after a dose of NANO Vapor.

I need to start acquiring parts for my Mustang...at the minute the hood is making a great extra work bench. :P
