January 28, 201312 yr Author It's louder, but since I'm tuned slightly higher ~40hz I can't play as low as be fore. Also since the box is too big and we don't want to raise tuning i can't reduce box volume. Also we can't lengthen the port because it's dangerously close to the back wall... So I really can't turn it up super loud without the subs bottoming out. So the next step is to remove more port area, we reduced it by. 50 in^2 this time but we're gonna add another layer to see if that helps Edited January 28, 201312 yr by Julian
