May 23, 201312 yr Author Ok more progress! For every step I complete I find something else that needs attention but here we are so far First time working with anything other than mdf. I liked the look of the wood so I wanted to show it off
May 27, 201312 yr Author Laying everything out I am liking the new setup but I am struggling with securing the box in my trunk. I've never had anything this heavy in my trunk before and no carpet makes it slide even easier. All these little install details that I neglect to plan for show my inexperience and make me realize the learning curve is steeper than I thought it was.
June 21, 201312 yr Author Don's velcro is always handy to have laying around. Your never know when you will find another use for it. A look from the inside All cleaned up and ready to go I decided to use the holes from my previous setup to run power and ground wires to save time/money. Not quite as clean but an acceptable compromise.
June 21, 201312 yr love the progress, looks awesome man, always happy to see someone enjoying their projects. Liking the stained wood as well. Definitely different from the normal grey carpet. And as for using the pre-existing holes for the wiring, it's fine, you've kept them neat and tidy, and ziptied together. Nothing wrong with that.
