Posted April 15, 201312 yr Budget Build, It is going to take awhile to get everything sorted out but right now this is my plan. Green = DecidedRed = Undecided 1 Pioneer 80-Prs (active)1 Crescendo 1100.4 - On Subs1 Soundstream rubicon 2.600 - On Mids1 Stetsom 200.2 or Lanzar VCT 4ch - On Highs 2 Crescendo ft1s2 Crescendo 6.5s2 Crescendo 10s or 8s4 SSA Dcon 15s in a slide-in wall. tuned between 32-35. Around 170in of Port. 1 Mechman 270-320amp Alt2 Diehard platinums @ front2 HC1200 @ amps1 Stinger voltage meterAudiotechnix 0gAudiotechnix 12gAudiotechnix Premium RcasAudiotechnix 80mil Eventually I'll switch from the Dcons to something bigger, but for now 4 Dcons is the plan. Thats the reason, some of my options are a little bit much compared to the rest of the build. Suggestions, Advice, constructive criticism is welcome Sand these a little more, prime, paint, and These will be going on my wall and the surrounding area. Going to be in typical SSA colors. (red, white, black) The design isn't finished, gonna switch it up a bit. But it gives you an idea. Edited April 15, 201312 yr by SacredTanakh
April 17, 201312 yr I'm not a big fan of audiotechnix 0 gauge wire or their deadner. I would prefer knu wire and sds for all my needs.Tuned in for build. Btw the ssa cut outs look great.
April 17, 201312 yr Ill be tuned in for this one! Ohh btw I have a c1100.4 for sale never used. Also 2 10 crescendo pwx mids which were never used too. Let me know if your interested.
April 17, 201312 yr Author Thanks guys, Ill look into knu 0g and im not sure at all the route im going to go with sound deadener. Thats going to be a huge undertaking considering the age of my truck. On another note, Might be switching to 6 SSA Dcon 15s! trying to squeeze enough port in atm.Buying the amps and front stage are last in my priority atm unfortunately. Box built first, then subs, then amps, then front stage and deck. Also any way to edit the original post..? the edit button disappeared. Edited April 17, 201312 yr by SacredTanakh
April 18, 201312 yr Author Why crescendo 1100.4 why not a bcc2000?Because I could have used it on the mids and highs for when I upgraded. But my plan has changed. Doing 6 dcons, and I'm not sure what amp(s) I'm going to use now. Edited April 18, 201312 yr by SacredTanakh
April 22, 201312 yr Author New Design coming together, all I know is 6 Dcons are gonna get loud or die trying! Also decided on the Sundown 2500d to power these little beasties. 6 dual 4 Dcons wired in parallel down to 1.33ohm 2500w / 1.33ohm = 1879w / 6 = 313w each. perfect. April 23, 201312 yr Author Nice internal bracing! That wall has serious authority.Yes, Props to Alton for his great design so far!Cant thank him enough for the help hes done. Edited April 23, 201312 yr by SacredTanakh
April 23, 201312 yr Author are you doing a B-Pillar or C-Pillar wall? The original plan was a C-pillar, but there wasnt enough room, so I switch to B-pillar.Kinda sucks to lose almost all of my seating but I think its gonna be worth it.
May 11, 201312 yr Author Pictures are going to start being posted, build has officially started!Unboxing pictures probably tonight or tomorrow. Edited May 11, 201312 yr by SacredTanakh
May 11, 201312 yr Author Nice!!! New alt!!!thanks, I'm pretty excited to see the difference in my voltage on my current setup. Tuned in for this build. Hopefully we can get it goin pretty quick. thanks nem!
May 12, 201312 yr Author Love the design!!!! Can't wait to see this thing. Thanks man, Alton is a great guy, talented for sure. Slightly larger then I expected, very nice look. 260 amps @ 1800rpm 136 @ 800rpm. Size comparison The FT1 supertweets. Hooked them up for two minutes, and Jesus these things are the harshest, most painful tweeter I've ever heard! Ill make my final judgement when I cross them over properly and have the mids, but its not likely that I will use them.
May 12, 201312 yr Love the design!!!! Can't wait to see this thing. Thanks man, Alton is a great guy, talented for sure. I try, lol. It's taking awhile to get the cutsheet down. Trying to decide the best way to describe the dimensions, lol.

Trying to decide the best way to describe the dimensions, lol.No problem, its a large box so I would expect that.Just out of curiosity are you take into account that the sheets are 49x36?Either way I can always spit the dimensions on some of the large pieces and glue them together.

June 12, 201312 yr Author Picked up so 1/0 G wire, fuses, and connections today to wire up the Alternator, and move the HC1200 to the center console. The wall is coming soon, this build is starting a lot slower than I expected. But money isn't right quite yet. Soon hopefully.Oh and I'm switching to the crescendo 3500 for subs, because I rather have a little extra power maybe with impedance rise then not enough. June 12, 201312 yr Author Tuned in man! What kind of wire is that? Its a locally manufactured brand called Arctic Ultraflex, it is nice wire but likely wont be buying it again as it was 5$ a foot. But I wanted to get this alternator in today so I bought this instead of ordering some which would take at least a week to get here.
