Hi I want to buy a couple SMD 18's for my next build but I cannot find any

They are the baddest subs ever and I need them

I do not want used I want fresh built

Does AA ever intend to build these again?

Can I pre-order the V2?

    I can get you 2 of them for $4150. What ohm do you need them in?

    that is unacceptable.  there is a big demand.  I do not think any of the parts used are so special that the sub cannot be built anymore....

    The magnet tooling that was used on the V1 was destroyed and is unavailable.

     

    They are not a common size magnet, therefore it can not be built.

    so does anyone know anything about the v.2 or did that just fall through?

    Sorry to thread jack, but If I was to purchase some used SMD v1s, would I be able to buy a re-cone for them or are those done too? Also what's up with the V2s?

    Only thing I can comment on, is yes, recones should still have available, and v2 will come when they are ready for f.I. to offer as always. No presale, or anything of that nature.

    Last I heard there is no more SMD woofer

    We have had issues with other Ascendant dealers trying to pull the same thing.
