  • Thanks guys, keeping this budget to 1000 bucks. I already have a Die Hard plat group 31 going under hood, BC 2000 and all wiring and fuses I could ever need. So that leaves components, 2 channel amp

  • Finally getting some work done. Got the head unit in and door pods mocked up, amp installed, 1/0 guage ran, etc. I will fiberglass the pods tomorrow and start on the box this week. Still trying decide

  • I just need to sand these down and paint them. I will have this complete this week.

Have you decided on tweeter placement yet?

Yes I am puting them on the a pillar, The bottom kick area is alittle small on the drivers side to get good tweeter placement. Figured that would bring the sound up some anyway. I could do some awesome bolt on door pods for mid bass but I will see how these do. Im hoping they sound as good as the last pods I did.

So everything is in and playing. The sd12 sounded great in the over size sealed box I built, but unfortunately it just doesnt leave enough room for me. The box is only 7in deep but was still just too think for me to use after all said and done.

So I decided to buy some bucket seats and use my center console box for the 15in Q I have laying around.

Probably not many single cabs running around with a 15in it. haha. For those that dont know this box is 3.7cu tuned at 29hz. It sounded awesome in my F250. I only have it running on half of the IA 4 channel so the sub is seeing only around 400-500 watts. Here a few quick pics and I will get better pics up when shes finished and cleaned up. I would throw my BC2000 on the sub but the Sundown components can barely keep up with the sub right now, no sense throwing more power on it.

Im really happy with the seats I found, they match very well. I just need to weld some mounting brackets and she is good to go

Port is firing behind driver seat leaving me plenty of room to get my seat all the way back

Got a chance to meter the truck. Really happy considering this is a 3yr old Q that has been beat to hell and back on a single 2k.

Had fun Swift, definitely an awesome daily setup for sure. Those seats are super comfy as hell even for a big guy like me.

Thanks a lot for letting me meter! Yours is quite loud as well!!

Some finishes pics. It's fine for now, quite loud too. Running active now and sounds way better than the comps believe it or not.

Looks like the build came together nicely and without many hiccup's. Your an inspiration to build something. :D
