January 4, 201411 yr I think there was a fire, I bought the amplifier as seen in the pics Then after I fixed it, an output cap blew, flames shot out the sides and burned the carpet on my rear seat. And then I fixed it again

April 5, 201411 yr My old Viper D1200.1. Was a great amp, until it sat in inches of water while my car was at the shop waiting to get worked on. The hatch was popped, but didn't pop up all the way. We got a downpour, and the water collected where the amp was. Still sitting on my floor, not sure what to do with it...
April 7, 201411 yr Will an alcohol soak work for an amp? I've dried out a handful of cellphones by soaking them in 99% isopropyl for a couple hours and letting it dry completely (takes hours to a day or two for phones, no doubt longer for an amp)
