January 7, 201411 yr There is no truthfully rated 3000 rms at at $400, either up your budget or lower your expectations. The only luck you may have is used and i doubt you will find used for that price as well. Edited January 7, 201411 yr by jay-cee
January 7, 201411 yr Iv seen saz2500s for 4-500 used. If you can find a deal on craigslist or something
January 7, 201411 yr Yes and no, it was an honest try but the hifonics amps especially the newer lines are pretty good for the price
January 7, 201411 yr #1 Belva BB5000D $270Would probably give you the power you after. Haven't owned one myself though.http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_65813_Belva-BB5000D.html #2 Planet Audio BB4000.1$239You could almost afford to get two and you would likely have something like 4k (big bang circuit board)http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_68571_Planet-Audio-BB4000.1.html^^ looking at these two I suspect they have the same board. #3 Refurbished Sundown Audio 25003,000 watts all day. but you have to up your budget $100 http://www.db-r.com/sell/store2/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=65_67_69_109 Edited January 7, 201411 yr by Heisenberg
January 7, 201411 yr Author Yeah, I have a hifonics brutus brx 1100 at the moment and it's putting out at least 1000. but sadly hifonics only makes the brutus line up to 2400 watts. And I'm skeptical about getting an amp from their Zeus line.
January 7, 201411 yr Author and....... #1 has been dyno tested. it did 1800 watts. #2 planet audio rates at Max power ratings. which typically is 1/2 the rms power.#3 is about the best deal, yet still. I would have to save more for that
January 7, 201411 yr Q-2200: $430http://www.soundqubed.com/Q1-2200D_p_31.html not your power level, great though but yeah, as stated your probably better either off lowering your power level or raising your budget.
January 7, 201411 yr Just so you know you won't hear a difference between a few hundred watts especially with that high of power. I would get something around 2k-2.5k rms and it'll be plenty for daily. If you're competing it's a different story , but for daily it'll be fine. A crescendo BC2k would be great for that and can be had for under ~400. A guy on here is selling one here and would make you're sp4 slam. Just have a good box design and well built box and you will be great.
January 7, 201411 yr http://m.ebay.com/itm/231076293379?nav=SEARCH&sbk=1 Audiopipe 3000. Unsure of real world power but I've used several 1500's with no issues.
January 7, 201411 yr http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/topic/61446-crescendo-bc2000d-for-sale-how-do-i-post-pics/Link to the BC2000. Another thing is you have to upgrade you're electrical more to support 3k rms than 2k. If there's no audible difference then why spend the money to upgrade you're electrical further if it's not needed. Money saved and you're still getting what you want.
