The power:size ratio didn't really sink in until I had it in my hands. Pretty slick little amps. Since I am installing them in the center console, I'll be wiring to the front battery. I just placed an order for a set of TM terminals and a little 1/0 and 2/0 wire. Finally time to get the big 3 done.

While it would look good with the right color temp, most times hid + reflector = headaches for other drivers at night. I know I hate the glare from them when not done right.

that is true, but light the road up man. If you aim downward enough it shouldn't be a problem. I drive every morning to work at 4AM, and after hitting a deer last year I switched up my projectors and highs/lows/fogs. As long as its not illegal, light it up =]

Agreed 100%    I still can't believe how much sound the ppi900.4 puts out bridged!

Yeah I love my ppi 900.4, nice job on the stealth install so far.

damn son! Nice install

Thanks guys. I always slapped things together in the past, so I'm trying to do a halfway decent job this time around. I got a little more done today, both amps are playing beautifully. I think I can now say that my front stage is on the loud side. Wow, these Seas mids bridged on the P900.4 are pretty powerful for the investment into them. First run video at the end of this post. Don't mind the crappy mic induced distortion. I turn the sub off part way into it and the phone mic still can't handle it!

So, I picked up some new, shorter, RCA cables on the cheap. For the price, I feel their short comings are worth it depending on the install. I snagged two of these: http://www.monoprice.com/Product?c_id=102&cp_id=10218&cs_id=1021814&p_id=2864&seq=1&format=2

I received and installed my new rcas today and have a few things to make note of here. Flexibility is definitely not a strength with these things. It took a little coaxing to get my hu back in the dash but I managed. Making the runs in the console look slick will be a challenge. The outer portion of the connector was super tight, so much so that I was afraid I was going to snap the outputs on the hu trying to make the connection. I had to do a little fine adjusting here to make it work. I now have zero alternator whine compared to the RF cables before. The routing is slightly different so that may also make the difference, not sure here. I know I am probably imagining things, but I swear it sounds better, lol.

Here is a size comparison of the monoprice cables to a set of Rockford cables.

Flexibility comparison. While the RF cable is easily held in this coil, it is taking quite a bit more strength and concentration to keep the monoprice cable from springing out of my hand.

Here is a shot of the monoprice cable in a relaxed position.

looking good.

Thanks for the review on those cables, yeah I heard the connectors are virgin tight. Didnt know they had that much size to them, make the RFs look like tiny.

No problem. If you have the room for them and don't mind the possibility of needing to loosen the connectors, the price is hard to beat.

Another productive day for the tahoe. I got the console all buttoned up and will be monitoring amp temps to see of I will end up needing a fan down there. So far so good though, haven't really been wailing on it so only time will tell. On to the pics.

Painted the mounting surfaces black to give a more finished look.

Top-notch work, bud. I'm kinda envious seeing as how this is VERY much in line with what I hope to be doing by the end of the year. Demo video came out extremely well, btw.

Did you get another Xcon or just rebuilding the enclosure for your currents setup?

I bought those same clamps from Lowes.
