May 12, 201411 yr Author Sounds like your PCM regulator is going out. The same thing happened to my car (04 Taurus) and I had an internal regulator added to the alternator to bypass it. Sadly, there's no way to get rid of the check charging system notification that I know of.Where is that located?
May 12, 201411 yr Author Well the car shuts off then I disconnect the batts. . But will keep driving however long when there connected. . . . So I hooked my stock alt back up and the same sh*t is happening. I don't understand now

May 13, 201411 yr Author Ok right now there is a batt under the hood and one in the trunk. . If I unhook the rear batt the car wont start.but if its hooked up and I start the car the car charges around 12 volts and if i unhook the rear batt while car is on it starts charging at 14. . . . So with front batt just hooked up it charges nornal but wont start and with the rear batt it charges real low but starts right up. . I don't know what it could be. . And happens with ho alt. Or stock alt hooked up
May 13, 201411 yr i would be cool if you posted a video or Pics showing how every thing is hooked up, wut year and model of car you have again? Edited May 13, 201411 yr by Cruz87
May 13, 201411 yr sounds like a bad battery up front. make sure your connections aren't all corroded.I got a couple brand new batts u can try if you want just to see if that might be the issue Edited May 13, 201411 yr by ohio45113
May 13, 201411 yr Possibly try moving the rear battery under the hood. Sadly procces of elimination is the only way to find an electrical gremlin.
May 13, 201411 yr Sounds like bad battery to me and the one in the rear might be going to hence the slow charge. Just my guess. Do you have a battery charger or a way to get your batteries tested like at Autozone?
