i've got 8 ethos just laying around and over 100,000w of power laying around..   I'm going to have to dial it back some but i heard his 6 ethos install..

It was LouD and CleaN.

To be able to break a 160 on less than 10,000w of actual output power is amazing!

On that subject, when you was back there with the meter, how much amperage was I pulling? I think you said around 300 amps right? So, figurativly speaking, obviously not 100% accurate, but on the safe side, that would be ~300 amps times 12volts which comes out to 3,600 watts, so times that by two we get 7,200 real time power right?

Once I get my truck back, there will be TON of test performed over the season, and I will post as much results back as soon as possible.

I know, when I tell you guys, I demo'd for hours and hours, it may be hard to believe. Idk, guess may think I'm over exaggerating or something. But just as proof, here is a video that has been edited down to 6 minutes long. Keep in mind, this was just ONE session. There was MANY sessions of demo'ing haha. This is just one guy, and his camera. In this video, you can see the crowd I had, the waiting line, me WALKING away from my system full tilt, all of it haha.

Nope..  457A per amp.

Saw you got Hank Veach in there for a second. He give you any advice?

Enjoyed the review- but now it begs the question-  which sub IS the best in the world? LOL

thanks.

There is none. Each sub has it's purpose. aka, no "one" best sub.

They were both great people though, good guys in my books. And it's funny because Dora is the build Mike Singer built, which I had looked up to. So, hearing that from him was a good feeling.

Thought I'd come back and provide some update information.

Most of all this feedback will come from the past two shows.

I attended the EMF show in SC, then to Sundown HQ show in NC. Both had great turn outs.

Regarding the ethos. Man I really love them !! At the EMF show, I was applying 2600 rms per sub with really no sweet to report. I did have to let them cool down, but was like, once every hour or so. I demo'd from 10am-5pm roughly. This past Saturday, I demo'd from 10am-4pm roughly. But with 4k per sub. At this point, I took much more cautious and care while demoing. I would demo for about 6 to 7 people at a time, then to rest for about 15-20 minutes. Initially, for the first 2 or so hours, they were getting stinky and smelly. My belief for this is because of them being fresh recones being put in that Thursday. After that, no smell to report, but boy, there was some heat coming through. I could have keep going, just to test the durability or power handling, but there was no point. I played it smart, as these will have to last me till World Finals. I'm going to look into a portable a/c unit to blow into the enclsoure as there seems to be heat that is just trapped in there.

Doug Fabio was able to measure the coils and magnets. Magnets got to 125 degrees and the coils got to 135 degrees.

I left the day with my best score to date, which was a 162.3

I would say, with both events combined, 8 out of 10 people would say my vehicle was their favorite demo. Which speaks high volume considering back to back triple point events, the people that were there, and the locations.

All of that being said, there is no other subwoofer that is better at either their power rating, or pricing, period.
