Posted September 5, 201411 yr Hello! I've bought my Draconia (2 pcs) in Jan 2013 at Ebay,WoofersEtc store. It was sold as NEW.Few days ago, there was a problem, so I had to disassemble one of my amps (short circuit in two mosfets at 2nd channel btw...my fault, never mind). Here is the picture of back side of PCB. There is soldering traces, flux, some kind of resistors etc. And it all look not like factory view. Is it normal for Zed amps? If it is not normal, I want to warn you, apparently, Woofers Etc store sells repaired (maybe even badly) amplifiers under the guise of new. P. S. Sorry for any mistakes, english is not my native language) Edited September 5, 201411 yr by greg3d
September 5, 201411 yr Looks pretty crappy to me for any brand amp circuit board. Electrical solder is rosin based shouldn't even leave flux residue. Edited September 5, 201411 yr by pmureika
September 5, 201411 yr Woofer Etc. is sketchy, I would not be surprised if they sold you an old one as new.

September 5, 201411 yr Author Did it come in a new box with new packaging? It came in a white box, and seemed new. Maybe it all false alarm, cuz my coworker (he is good specialist in electronics) says the large and heavy elements often solders by hand after factory stage. So lets wait for the official response
September 6, 201411 yr Admin I personally have not pulled the boards out of my amps to see the back. Some parts are assembled in California before the amplifiers are shipped out. Chances are Stephen won't see this, but I can ask the next time I talk to him. But I would not be surprised based on what Sean said above.
October 2, 201410 yr I bought some neo pros 10s from them on amazon and the packaging was a little off. They turned out to be the wrong ohm. They refused to do anything about it either.not going to buy from them again.
