As long as you are useing single action the trigger has around 1/2" of travel before it meets the testion. One of the easiest and most fun handgun I have ever shot.

I really like Ruger too. The first gun I fell in love with was a Ruger P345 at the gun shop where Matt bought the Springfield.

that is one thing I know little about

ruger is ok, personally don't like the feel. unless it's the mark series of .22lr auto's. those are absolutely some of the best ever built.

I personally like it. I am not a fan of the Mark series.

Next gun is a sig 226. Just got to wait for a while cause I am short on cash.

i don't care for glock either, even though my sigma enhanced is so close s&w got sued by glock....

springfield and i don't get along because they aren't truely made in america...look at the slides and frame..stamped made in croatia..bogus. but the sad truth is, they make really nice 1911's...and the xda has gotten awesome reviews.

i got my kimber custom II today..will shoot it tomorrow, both pics and rounds..lol...

yeah...i absolutely love the feel of a real handgun..lol..

hold my .40 sigma in one hand loaded and the empty kimber in the other..lol...kimber is still just as heavy...

composite guns are nice for carry, but nothing says "you're screwed doc" like looking down the working end of a good ole 1911!
