i got those from parts express.....they are called magnetic grill guides

this weekends work...i got some of these for the next phase which is the x-over rack cover and the wall face. These will be used to hold more panels on as i work my way towards the front of the truck

remember the ugly cardboard? this is where im going with that its going to be leather and maybe some suede but for sure leather.....

a quick 1/2" roundover at the ports and middle chamber opening....

tomorrow i start attaching with tons of Neo Magnets then it should be ready to wrap...

I have gotten so many ideas from this build it's not even funny man. Bigtime kudos on sharin this chit, we are all in your debt for that my man. I'm a contractor (flooring) by day, and have wife, kids, dogs, etc......where in the fuuck do you find the energy it takes to do this kind of a build on top of a day job yo? Lolz....come on mang give that chit up!

Ok this looks just like last nights pics except one thing, now they are attached. It took 196 magnets to do it. That is 45 per side X2 plus some for the middle pieces. I need to order more to finish but they are locked on NICELY now. They shouldnt move from the bass but if they do, once they are wrapped, i will put some CA glue on the magnets and let em lock up for life

im still not 100% sure im going with the mesh but its a little something ive been tossing around in my head. Its mesh OVER plexi so it can come right off if i change my mind....

if i use a perforated metal that matches the amps, you wont be able to see thru it very good and thats the point of the cut outs....thanks though!!

Can you drive with all that added weight or will you have to get some H2 type tires ??

ok this morning i broke down and ordered up some of this.....if it looks good, and i can see thru it decently, and if Chicken likes it, ill keep it. If not, it was a $30 experiment so no big deal
