well i went from 12 volt to 17.9 volt's with a drop to 15.? and did'nt make a gain i actully did better with 12 volt by .3 i tried a line driver (8volt) and did'nt help a bit. wtf is going on here any idea's ?

r u usin a high voltage turn on? if not the amps will trip out before there full potential are reach.??

Did you isolate your batteries from the other part of your oem syst? Did you get a alt capable of 16volt of output? Your stock alt is made for 14.4 volts give or take ,so that it does not cause damage to your sensitive O.E.M electronics .If you just installed batteries in the rear of your vehicle in series with each other it is likely not to work properly and could damage the electronics in your vehicle .You would need to upgrade your charging syst to a 16 volt alt H/O ,Isolate the rear from the front (that includes the ground for the 16 volt leg also) and regulate the front to 14 volts and add some battcaps , kinetics , or some form capacitence/storage for your amp(s).Simply putting batteries in is not going to work very well.

I would say it might be more practical to add more battcaps/batteries at 14.4 volts and maintaining that 14.4 volts with no or little voltage drops and possible adding another amp or epicenter .It might save you some headaches and money compared to upgrading to a true 16 volt system?

No idea why you aren't gaining, the power output increase by going to high voltage is tremendous. It *has* to be something else with your setup for sure. Have you used a DMM on all of your coils to make sure one isn't open?

come to find out the batteery's were sitting for 3 year's. and i had put a hot charge in them because i was in a hurry. oh well still did a 151 did'nt get the 6 footer i wanted! but still put the squeeze on a guy with 4 9515's and 2 6500's. he only did a 152.2. i luv the fact that people look @ my POS crx and shrug there shoulder's until i unleash a hurtin on em. SUNDOWN FOR THE 2ND PLACE. I'm not going with 16 volts anymore this was just for 1 show. thanx guy's

Me too. I think I am gonna hold out on buying my second saz-1500d and just get a 3000d, and use my 1500d for something else.
