Posted July 11, 200718 yr I have a PDX-4.100 amp and I use the front two channels for components. I want to use the back two channels (200rms x2 bridged) for SD-1 subs. What would be the best combination of these subs for me to use to get the best bass? I can spend up to $250.
July 11, 200718 yr What box do you want to use?Ported or Small Sealed, use the 10" model hands down -- two of them for a 4 ohm load.Larger Sealed or Transmission Line, use the 12" model -- again, two for a 4 ohm load.Either option will come out under your budget, contact a dealer for pricing (like the SSA store) and you will get a price quote that is less than MSRP.

Thanks for the help. Can't wait to hear them.Any recommendations on a good ported box? Edited July 11, 200718 yr by Invisible23

July 11, 200718 yr Admin I would start with the 1.0 @ 30hz (per sub) listed from Sundown and go from there.

How can I get in contact with Rich to build me one?
July 11, 200718 yr Author Where can I get the SD-1 for the cheapest price? http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/shop/in...p;productId=146 If I buy 2 from there plus a $150 enclosure, then it would cost me about $370. It's a bit over my budget and I could probably afford it anyway but I was just wondering if I could buy the SD-1's cheaper? Edited July 11, 200718 yr by Invisible23
