Hey everyone, i'll get straight to the point. I'm selling my Fi BL 18" Sub in a 29hz box 40" long 17" high 24" deep (not 100% positive on this I will have to double check) along with my Hifonics Brutus brz2400.1D amp. It's a dvc-2 ohm sub. I bought this sub around late January. I've had it installed in my car for only 2-3 weeks. It was an impulse buy and if I didn't desperately need the cash I would keep it without a doubt. The amp and all the wiring was bought around the same time as the sub from sonicelectronix and I paid for a 3-year warranty. The power and ground cables are 1/0awg knukonceptz and the rca cables, remote wire, and speaker wire are part of a kit I got awhile pack from elite audio. I have 2 inline fuse holders with a 300a fuse and a 150a fuse. A couple ring terminals as well. The dust cap is blue and I have the cooling and flat wind options and the daily option selected. $433 with shipping, ~$100 for the wires, $300 for the amp with the warranty and I paid $200 for the box which has fiberglass insulation. I have the original box Fi sent the sub in and the amp. I don't know how much it would cost to ship a box that big, so without the box I would sell it all as a package for $650. quickest way to contact me to discuss anything would be texting me @ 574-323-3166. Thank you.

WIRING KIT?

well, to save some money and the pain of returning my kit to sonic, i think i'll just get the knukonceptz for my amp and use the elite for my big 3 and any extra wires i may need. -

dude you're like my number 1 advisor for this LOL! so i should DEFINITELY get rid of my elite audio kit right? it doesn't necessarily seem horrible looking at it, but i think for my system knukonceptz makes a lot more sense...as soon as i hear back from sonicelectronix about returning it i'll probably order my kolossus. as for the big 3, what all would i need? ~20ft of 0 gauge, some terminals, a fuse holder+fuse (i think?), and soldering equipment for attaching the terminals? i know im a noob, but thats what i've gathered from watching different videos and what not. all that would be cheaper than buying a premade kit? edit: should i post pics of the elite audio wire so you can see if i should upgrade or not? i personally don't know if its high quality or not, but every picture i've seen shows the knu looking like it's got a lot more wire and less insulation. double edit: guess it makes sense for me to just keep my elite audio kit and get the kolossus on top of that. i could use the 0 gauge from the elite for my big 3...that way i can keep the other wires that came with it that aren't included in knukonceptz kit. all i need is a couple more terminals and an inline fuse holder+fuse, i think....o.o -
is knukonceptz kolossus fleks the best 0 gauge wiring kit out there? seems like a great deal. just got my elite audio kit in from sonic electronix today and not pleased...definitely sending back for some store credit. setting up a hifonics brutus brz2400 running an 18in Fi bl btw. also looking at an audio technix big 3 upgrade kit. reason i'm not just buying the wire and terminals etc myself is because i dont think im experienced enough or have the proper equipment to be setting up a high quality wiring upgrade. here's the link to the audio technix. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Audio-Technix-1-0-GA-Gauge-OFC-Silver-Tinned-Wire-Big-3-Wiring-Upgrade-Kit-5-/110986503556?vxp=mtr&hash=item19d74fa584 should i use some of that store credit i should be getting at sonicelectronix for an additional battery?

should i even invest in a second battery? would doing that reduce my need for a better alternator? idk if i can spend the money on an HO alternator...im about to order 1/0awg wires for my big 3 and trying to decide if i should buy a second battery.

My friend has a battery he wants to sell me for $100. http://www.batcap.net/Products/BatCap2000/tabid/89/Default.aspx Good deal?
-
Does this hinder the subs performance or just takes too much power from the electrical system causin the light dimming or whatever it may be?
-
Sounds good! hopefully my jeep's electrical system can handle this! worth it to invest in a 8farad capacitor and maybe some extra 1/0awg wire for a big 3 upgrade? sorry im a noob, just would like a more professional opinion on this. i want to get full potential out of this sub
-
ended up sticking with the 2 ohm. just gonna get the smaller amp or set the gains appropriate to this sub's ability when i get it installed
