Robbie mentioned you guys got something worked up for the volvo (2002 v40 1.9L 4cyl Turbo 5A). I'm going to get the timing belt replaced on the car pretty soon, just wanted to see if there was any time frame when the cases would be done, maybe I can stretch it out and get the alt installed at the same time Oh and would the new case / alt use the internals from the 230xp (jeep wrangler 4.0 I6) I got now?

an alternator for this vehicle isn't listed on the site. Can it be done? Has it been done? Thinking of buying one but want to be able to put the system I want in it so the alternator is a must. Any info is appreciated. I can't seem to find anything anywhere of quality.

I can't find anyone that makes one! I'm hoping for at least 200+ amps. 250 or so would be superb!

So... I just ordered four XP 270 alts and a bracket for my Tahoe. For batts I've got an S3400 for the front and four D3100s for the back. To start with I'm planning on running 10kw to the subs, maybe 1100w to components. So I need wiring advice. Do I: 1. Run the positives from all four alts to the S3400 positive post, then go from there to the D3100s (which will be connected with a bus bar)? This is the "single pool of power approach". Or: 2. Run the positive from one alt to the S3400, then run the positives from the other three alts to the D3100s. This approach completely isolates three of the alternators and the four D3100s, which will be used exclusively to power the s…

I have been dealing with DC Power since last year having conversations with Robbie and Kyle. To make a long story short I choose to no longer do business with DC Power. I was very upset and frustrated with having to choose this route and so was Robbie (owner of DC Power). Robbie contacted me last week and offered his product to me. Robbie expressed his concern with having a customer that was not happy with his company. Robbie truly wants his customers to be pleased with his company's product. I am absolutley floored that Robbie cares this much about 1 customer when his company has thousands!!!!!!! Thank you Robbie, Kyle and the rest of the group at DC Power. Here are p…

I got an 04 GMC Sierra and wanting to put my system from my car into it. I have 1 XS battery and 3 Dekas. I am considering 1-2 more batteries (prob 1 xs). My question is I've been researching HO alts for it and I think the biggest ones in stock for my truck is the sp320 and the xp390. I'll be running close to 7K watts on 2 18s. I know I'll be drawing over 320 amps of current. Is the 320 plenty? or should is the 390 more in the ball park?

Hey DC, I've emailed you in the past about which alt to get for my car and I've decided to get a 180 hp for my 1.6l D16A6 1991 Honda CRX si. My car isn't listed on your site to order, so i used a 1992 Honda civic 1.6 (same motor) and they are sold out. So I'm just checking if there is any difference between the two and if there are any in stock, just not listed on the website. Another reason I want to check if there is any difference because i was quoted $10 lower than the '92 civic alt. Which is no big deal, just another factor leading me to believe there is a subtle difference in the alts. If there are none in stock, is there a time frame you can give me on when one wil…

First off do you offer a 270 for a 2007 Toyota matrix? Also I saw a post where you stated it would do rated idle power (170-180 if I recall) for fifteen minutes with no problem. Are there any consequences doing this rated output for more than fifteen minutes? What us your rated turn on and max rotating speed? Also do these alternators have any built in surge protection or do you offer any that is external? For example our 90amp power supplies used for shows have a 1,000 amp surge protection. Thanks, Quentin

Bought a Denso alternator from alternatorparts.com. It's a 220 amp unit part number N1ERIF220. I need a small v-belt pulley and nut for it. The pulley I have on it is slightly bigger than the serpintine one that came with it.

Hi Guys, I have been in contact with you guys before and was wondering... First of I am currently located in Singapore and owning a car here cost about 3x the price of over there in the US...suppose that is how they control traffic on the island. Many moons ago I asked you guys about an alt for a Lancer GLX. I was told there were too many mounting possibilities. I ended up taking my alt out and shipping it to ur frnds at ohio Gen who were the only guys willing to help at the time. The thing developed a cold start squeak and to ship it back will mean I have wait another month or so just for a alt; their service was great but boy that would be a pain. This also means I ne…
