two weeks ago I installed a kenwood ddx6905s a pare of 6.5 and 6x9 rockford fosgate prime speakers a 12 in ssa demon in a 1.25cf sealed box after displacement powered by a fosgate prime r500x1d in my 2014 corolla the speakers sound grate but the sub does not the bass sounds muddy my 7 year old dcon in the same size box still sounds as good as the day I got it is this a eq problem with the kenwood I set my gains with my liumy lm2001

ok----some of you guys have heard the Magnum already(sounds ok----can be better) but I am thinking of a new 2 way set-up(wanna stay in Stock SQ class for MECA)-----so I am wanting to upgrade from the RE 6.5's and Alpine tweets-----I am thinking Morel Elante 6 or maybe a Dynaudio 2 way set-up-----any feedback would be great-----thanks

As the subject says I have blown one of my JBL mids. Does anyone know if I could by just the mids or possibly send the one I blew back to JBL for a repair. I have never delt with JBL so I don't know if they ever offer something like that. I am very pleased with the mids and don't feel like replacing the complete component system.

I am asking if a big car (ex: full size station wagon) or a small car (ex: 1990 vw golf 2-door) is better for bass? I am talking about the full bass spectrum 20hz-100hz. I always thought a bigger car was better because it takes about 8-10 feet for 20hz to fully produce, but it always seems a lot of people think a small car would be the loudest, so can you clarify this for me and others.

Everytime i shut the car off while the radio is on i get a big BOOM sound outta my subs i check the ground and its not it i added another battery thinkin that was gonna stop the BOOM made it worst i dont know what is going on my best bet is thats it the HU i have a EQ hook up as well and wen i turn on the car the EQ lights up 1st then the radio take a good 2 min to get going could it be that i wired somethin up wrong and its causeing a big boom sound?

I am currently running a single sundown sa-8 under my rear seat in my truck. Dual 2 ohm voice coils. Powering it with a us amps md -1d At 4 ohms. I want a little more and was debating about buying a Memphis mojo 8” to fit in same box so I could wire it down to 1 ohm to get more juice from the amplifier. The mojo Is rated at 900 w rms 1800 max(stated on website). The amp pushes 1200 w at 1 ohm. (Claimed) the sundown is rated around 500 rms. Any suggestions on which route to go? Is the Memphis better then the sundown?

This is the problem... I ordered about 6 weeks ago 2 Kinetik Audio HC1800 batteries on Ebay at IndoAudio (yes, my own stupid mistake). And since then I didn't receive any batteries. Now I am looking to get my cash back from Paypal / Ebay. Anyways, I still need 2 good brand batteries, which can feed my amplifiers. Amplifiers in use (or soon to be used): - 2x (strapped) SAZ-1500D - 1x SAX-100.4 (bridged) What brands (and preferably what types) can you recommend. I am on limited space in my trunk for the batteries; so smaller in size is good, but bigger in size is a no go! OK, so my amps intermittently shut off then turn back on. sometimes just one of them, sometimes both. if just one, it's almost always my sub amp. does it at high volume, low volume doesn't matter. if I turn the deck off, I sometimes will randomly get a turn on thump through my sub for no apparent reason. sometimes they go into protect, other times they just turn off. thoughts? solutions? apparently I are not so smrt...

This is going to go in a 07 or 08 dodge charger cause i have to ditch my beloved truck. So far i plan i running 3 10" Q's in the trunk in a IB setup. That is about as far as I have gotten cause I have no experience at all when it comes to setting up speakers for mids and highs. Before I would just throw 6x8's in and go, want to do it right this time. Music wise, I listen to, literally, everything. so when i was growing up.. im 24 now so what ever... anyway everyone that had a bad ass audio set up owned a epicenter, so of course when i started gettin biger in the game..( ya know a the big 3 with 2 batts, 2 jl 500/1s 2 w6 15s and 4 jl w3 12's).. i got a epic center.. i but it in and it sucked! i donno if i just could never get my stuff tuned right with it but any song with an 808 beat sounded like trash..... but any old school song like i donno old from the 92 or 93... those songs were at there best more beat more knock then ever before. but now! i have 2 15 FI bls fully loaded, 3 yellow tops the big three and a sun down 3000 on the way....... whats your take..…

I keep telling a buddy of mine to go with Fi instead of a Circuit City MTX Jack Hammer Box with 2 12" subs. Please give me some advice or videos for me to give him. Fi BL 15" vs 2 12" Jackhammer series MTX subs. I am giving him my Hifonics Bx1606d amp so he has power and he has room for both. Any advice would be great. hi, I just got a Kenwood DVD player with monitor (KVT-819 DVD) and when i tested it, i do get the sound but the screen is not showing any video. It is still at the playback menu but i see no buttons to press to show the movie. anyone familiar with Kenwood DVD player? thanks.

Whats up SSA! In the near future I would like to open up some type of small car audio shop. Start off small and build it up, but what I was wondering is.. Is it illegal to resell brand new audio equipment without being authorized as a dealer? Lets say I buy alot of American Bass subs and resell them for a $30 profit per sub (in example), would it be illegal? Thanks for any input.

Has anyone had any experience doing any audio on a motorcycle? . Going to be doing an install on an 04 roadglide . Just seeing if anyone has any recommendations or anything since I have not messed with a motorcycle yet . . There is a stock head unit and 2 speakers . Customer wants to try to keep the head unit and replace the stock speakers and maybe add a couple more speakers and maybe amp them. . Hes not a big audio guy so im sure wont need crazy quality . Just want to be able to hear clear music when on the highway and shit

So im plannin on building a wall in my crown vic soon. i have a DC Power 270Xp alt plannin on putting 5 batts in the back 2 18" fully loaded Fi Sp4s dual 1 and going to buy a crescendo 5500 along with knuconceptz Wire. will wire subs down to 1ohm together also have 4 crescendo 8" mid range speakers for the doors plannin on a few 6.5s as well super tweets planing to deaden all over using murder mat. Now onto the wall i will be sending max dimensions to BHE soon and get a wall design i am going to be aiming for about 7 if possible 8 cuft per sub tuned to 33hz also was lookin to go for 15 16 on the port vol. sorry if this is a little sloppy im on my phone ill post some pic…
