Don't know if this is in a good spot, but does anyone have ear bud recommendations? I saw on the Audioque site they have a pair of ear buds for 25$ shipped that look nice. I know the amp sits under my driver seat and is a B**** to get to but I want to rip the entire system out and start fresh. I really want bass so I have 2 12" SA-12s waiting to go in. I need: Headunit (preferably single din so i can get an eq) ~$200 4- 6.5 mids - ($100) 2-4 tweeters - ($30? no clue) 4 channel amp to power them. Any suggestions at all will help. Thanks guys. Also if your selling something let me know I like to keep the headunit red to go with the rest of my buttons/lights in the car.

I'm basically wanting to compare frequency response curves of subs, and I'm wondering if people feel Winisd Alpha is a legit way to do that? I believe the program calls it "transfer function magnitude". The program also has a "spl" field that I also wonder about. Thanks.

Well. im just doing a bunch of general research and Scott Owens has the current SPL record at 182.2 db in his F-250. Obviously insanely modified and i understand that, i was just curious what type of box he uses. I cant really find much on what he actually used, does he keep it a secret? ok so i bought some permatex rubberized under coating that im gonna lay some coats on the trunk and the rear deck lid and see if thats helps with the rattle in my trunk...i think it will....i dont know if alot of people have used this before but i heard a couple of people that used it and said it worked pretty good....only $13 for 3 16oz cans so pretty good deal if it works.

Ok, I just bought my new car, a bright red 1993 Volvo 850 GLT with tan leather and a 5 spd. The cars great, but its lacking in the sound department. Ok, I have a MINT condition Alpine CDA-7875 head unit (BBE, V-Drive, etc) that I want in this car, how do I hook it up? I have put this head unit in 4 different cars so far so im not an idiot, but Circuit City told me you couldnt put a head unit in this car without rewiring EVERYTHING in the car due to an internal amp. Now, my 240SX had internal amps and all I did was hook up the remote turn on wire to the one on the HU and it worked great. Anyoen have a wiring diagram? Well, i think im going to be wrapping my interior in black vinyl, and replacing some of the trim pieces with a polished silver type look. Anyways i was just wondering a good website that id be able to buy some Vinyl that isnt insanely expensive.

Simple question i can't find the answer to. So, if i have an amp that does 100w per channel, does the 100 get split between tweet, and mid? will the mid and tweet both get 100w or would the 100w be split between them?

Im lookin at a ne system and im stuck at what to get. I dont want to spend more than 600. I can get 2 Alpine Type R 12s ported, 2 SE 12s ported, 15 XXX ported, 12 SX ported, or 2 p3s in a ported custom box. Need help and opinions.

My alt arrived today and it's installed! Now I need to upgrade my wires, I am stuck on KnuKoncepts but am interested in Stingers 3/0. In the long run Stinger 3/0 is actually less than 3*1 of the KK for obvious reasons, and KK doesn't offer any 3/0. I hear that the Kolossus cable is almost 2/0. I plan to get 2 more 250 alts, so am thinking about the multiple run issue. I am now stuck on deciding if I want to go with Kolossus Flex or KLM. I'm looking to put a single btl 15 in my trunk. I planned on 2 sa12's but after hearing them im not happy. I want something that hits a lot lower. It's a trunk car and sub will up fire. Going to run my bc2000 to it if it's able to properly fit back there. Dimensions..13" height x 37" width x ~35 depth. Is that enough room to fit a btl 15 n2 in there with the proper port? I prefer a lower tune. 2nd, the btl has a mounting depth of 9.625". Will that put the magnet too close to the bottom of the box? I have experience with a UFO btl 18 in another vehicle so I'm pretty sure this is the route I want to go, but if the space isn't there I'm not going to waste any money on it. T…

I decide to make a couple vids of hairtricks. My last box was much easier to do hair tricks because it was tuned at 25Hz. This box is tuned at 38Hz and is much harder. But its all for fun so enjoy... p.s. My mom is a teacher and we did this video for her students. This is the better vid.

Ok, when I bought my speaker from my friend he gave it to me in this small, crappy made sealed enclosure and i need to take the apeaker out, not necessarily right away, but eventually it needs to come out, but the problem is is that 3 of the 8 screws are stripped, so i need a way to take it out without damaging it, o and the surround is made of metal not rubber. Any ideas?
