Hi! Everyone! I'm a new member here in Cali., I'm so glad I've found this site! A lot of guys here are very knowledgeable. Not only brand specific but any brand in particular. Yesterday, I drop by Zed Audio, to have my Us acoustics 4065 fix, & spent some time with Mr. Mantz.Happy to say He's doing really well. Right now he's concentrating on home pro audio set-ups. anyways, I bought a Deuce amp to feed my Solo's.All I can say is this amp is wow! "SIMPLY AWESOME!", I'll be adding it to my Zed amps collection, namely, lanzar optidrive 1000.1d,Lanzar opyidrive 100.4, Lanzar opti sl50, US Acoustics usf 1000f and 4065, All in mint like brand new condition.Thank you!

Your site lists the Minilith and it states that it is the smallest suggesting that there are larger mono amps available. What are the larger amps, what are the specs and what are the prices? Thanks Jerry

Ever since all of the discussion on ECA about Zed's new big six channel amplifier I have been interested. I couldn't seem to find the very first thread but here are the second and third. (from February 2005) second third I participated in the contest to pick the names for the new and large 6 and 4 channel amps. I actually won the six channel naming contest naming it the Leviathan. (no prize claimed yet) Been quite awhile since I have herad any news of how the building and testing of the prototypes are coming along. I realize good things take time, but I'm just curious if there are any developments. The Hammer

I have read a million different posts on the various ways to set it....but ....I just wanted to get an idea where you guys have yours set at.... I am running a Pioneer 880prs 5 volt deck and the gain is currently straight up 12 O'clock position or halfway.... I havnt had it installed a week yet and barely spent any time in it yet....so its still in adjust phase but I at this moment can turn the deck up to max volume and its not distorting to me...so I am wondering if I can turn the gains any more or if I am already past where it should be at... I really hate amps not having clipping indicators ...it would be much easier to set with them

I've heard on another forum that ZED makes the CDT SQ amplifiers. Is this true? If it is true what kind of performance can I expect from these? Should I consider using these amps for my front stage over Rockford T line or Zapco reference line? and why?

As was stated in another thread, Zed is running low on his 12V line of amps. Can we expect another run for his current line (Deuce, Minilith, etc..) in the near future. I'm a great fan of what Steve does and would wait a few months or so. Do we know if the company os going another direction, or will the car audio amps still be part of Zed Audio. I'm not trying to start and rumors or stir up anything, I would just like to know if I need to wait patiently or find another amp to run my 12V needs. Long live ZED!!!!!

I just read on another forum that ZED AUDIO is not going to continue to make car audio amplifiers. Any truth to this? If it is then maybe you better get what you can. I also know they make amps for CDT. Maybe they are going to continue to make them for other companies. Anyway if they quit all together I will be disappointed.

Question, this being a "subwoofer" amplifier, why does it not have a subsonic filter? Is it only meant to supply power in a sealed enclosure application??? Are the crossover points setup in a way so that I may remove the frequencies I don't want>? Example: It has crossover points @ 25hz , 31hz, 40hz, 50hz, and 63hz.. If I set the crossover points on 25hz to -12db will that "remove" that frequency's reproduction? If I leave it at 0 will it do the same? I really like this amplifier and feel that 1000w is more than enough to get an Xcon moving... My other choice would be a RF t1500-bdCP when funds allow.... Hopefully review at work goes well and I get a raise... Then I…

  16. Stephen & I have been working on the overhauling of his old website for around 6 months now. We have made it to this point. The launch of the new site. There are still some changes in the works, like a brand new fresh page, and professional product photos of his awesome 2011 amplifiers! Once those photos come back in about a week or so, the site will come alive! In the mean time, feel free to check it out, comment, rate, share on the zedaudiocorp.com website! I am not listing in the for sale forum (nor able to) my Zed Deuce and Draconia amps with Burr Brown upgrades here. They are both being put on ebay. Just for anyone who might be interested. Seller: smcrae I bought these from Zed / Steve (or course) and am the original owner. More an FYI to those who would appreciate these vs. the ebay crowd.....

Hi everyone, I need some advice! I recently took out my Zed Gladius w/Burr Brown to send it in for repair. I have the chance to buy a Zed Deuce without the B.Brown upgrade. Would there be a difference in SQ between the two amps? I know the Deuce has more power, so it might be better overall for my comps. I'm running a set of DLS UP6i's with the passive crossovers, which is rated at 150 wrms, 180 wmax. Does the Burr Brown make much of a difference, or will the extra power (without BB) make my comps sound better? I know it'll get louder, but I'm worried about the SQ. What would you guys recommend? Thanks in advance.

First off is a Leviathan. It's brand new in box, still have the manual and the protective sheet on it. Price is $550 shipped. It is the new one and is gimmick free. I just got it in the mail yesterday but have to sell it to pay for insurance Next I have 4 Boss Audio Havoc REV-665 amps which are handcrafted in the USA by ZED AUDIO. All of them are brand new in box and include the manuals and all the goodies. Here are the stats rated at 12 volts.. Boss Audio Zed Made in USA Havoc REV-665 85wrms x 4 @ 4 ohms at 12 volts 180wrms x 4 @ 2 ohms at 12 volts 190wrms x 2 bridged @ 4 ohms at 12 volts Each one is $200 shipped. These are very powerful amps and gorgeous. Pics:

I'm in the market for a new amp to go in the house, and I got to thinking... Anyone know if Steve ever had his hand in making any home audio amplifiers? I know he does A LOT of contracting and designing for other companies and I figured he must have made some over the years. I'll probably give him a shout during the week and ask him personally, but thought someone on here might know as well. I'd love to have a Zed amp in the house.

I have trouble opening some of the files on Zed's website. It's mainly the TECH files where Zed explains Components, Amp Classes, Cables, etc... I can open the first few files up to "Components", then I'm not able to click and view the PDF or word file. Anyone know what I can do?
