i'm redoing them. the tweet is gonna be in them this time and i'm molding them to the actual kick panel from the car.... one question though...should i seal of the backside of the tweeter hole? or just leave it like that?

Well I went to my teams shop last weekend and decided I would do a little testing with my new setup. The equipment used is a 21in warden and SAZ 3500. The vehicle is a 97 blazer. Electrical is one yellow top under the hood one extra battery in the back and 2/0 welding cable. Box is a little over 9 cubes and tuned at 40 htz. Currently running 2 HDS 215s (600rms, 15 inch) subwoofers in the back seat of a mustang convertible. Not much of an improvement over my previous Sundown E-12s. The problem I believe is the box. being obviously small to fit back there. Around 2 cubes per sub. Would I be better off getting a new box to put back there, say the QBOMB15VL where there is 3.85 cubes (4.2 total) for A SINGLE 15 rather than my 2 15s now. Also found on ebay a 4.0 box (5.33 total) tuned at 32hz. Also I could upgrade the subwoofer to something that can take my 1700rms amp better. Any help appreciated.

I am building an enclosure for my truck today. I will have 2.5^3 net before port behind my rear seat. I have a few different options available. I have a Rockford T1500.1 bd CP for power. I have already 6 Rockford P2 8"s, my plan was to do 4 ported. Would end up .5 each after port and all with a single 4" Aero Port. Would tune it around 29Hz Thoughts? Ideas?

I'm looking into getting a new 10" sub, I have had a fiaudio btl and after that experience everything in my truck is loose. I am looking for the best bang for my buck in a sound quality sub, I have considered a fi Q, I have heard good things about sundown audio. Any suggestions?

cant figure it out. two IA 187 15s off a AQ1200d, 6.0^ft3 ported at 37hz. To get any decent bass i had to turn my gain all the way up, and bass boost to about the middle. my remote gain shows clipping at medium volume. Im very confuse at whats going on. I put a battery on the subs and they popped out at the same time so im pretty sure they are in phase. any other ideas?

I have a 2 door Acura Integra, which is a rather small car, and I have entered the IASCA SPL comp at Nopi, and I have a few questions about SPL, I've competed before, and even won a few trophies, but I am still rather new and would like to do better this year. First of all I'm debating on which woofer to use, I have a RL-p, which I dont think would be very good for SPL, so I was thinking of buying a Rockford Fosgate Team RF, they're rather expensive, but I hear they're really good for SPL. I will be soon upgrading my current sub and box setup in my F250. I am limited on space and think I can go 1.5cu without much issue or maybe even up to 2.cu if I add an extension piece. My goal here louder deeper harder hitting setup. Here is a pic of the space I can work with and my current box. 1 10in Fosgate p2 in .53 sealed. I can easily double the size of the current box or I can make almost like a L shaped box to utilize the lower section behind the pass side. I have pretty much been out of the game since 2009 because I was happy with my last build and left it alone for about 5 years. I recently bought a 94 F-150 ext cab to DD and I need my tunes back. This truck is going to give me some headaches but I'm slowly getting there. I'm looking to put a 10" SSD in a center console box, sub down with a forward firing aero port to try and get everything to fit and not look too silly. I made some templates today and figure I have 18" height, 24" length and 12" width overall to work with. That includes lifting the box 2-3in off the floor for sub clearance. I've decided to build a box for my 15" SSD that will fit in my trunk. I was wondering if these numbers sound right or what it really should be. Lol Box will be 28" wide, 17" tall, and 22" deep. Port is 3.5" wide and 21 inches long. Looking to be around 4cuft tuned around 31- 33hz Does this sound right?? If not help is very appreciated!

Ok, well I just got a newer vehicle (2001 chevy tahoe). After spending my limit to upgrade my substage, I had my alpine 9831 from about 2-3 years ago die on me. I am thinking I'll get a cda-9887 to replace is since it will be pretty much a drop in change, and I can save some of my older cables. I'm really not that happy with the eq it has, so I'm considering adding one in there. I've never done this before, and while I've been researching it everyone has a different opinion as to what I should look for, so any suggestions will be appreciated. I have been running 2 12" zcons for little over a year. 6 cubes 38hz 80cuin of port area. drivers side port all facing into cabin spray foam sealed of family car. trunk build. still have to load kids in back seat. seats fold down. Always been run at 1 ohm. I was using a saz3500v1. when I built that box and tuned it. I recently bought a B2 M1s to run on these subs. 7500w @ 1ohm. with the power increase I was looking for any help with what the new box would require as far as net volume. Looking for help????? suggestions???

guys im building a box just for the hell of it..its going to be a sealed box and i just want to see if i can do this because im sick of paying $250+ to have others do it for me..the size of the box will be 2.5 cu.ft..so if you guys can list what i will need to get this done besides nails,hammer,glue, also what kind of glue do you guys like? i really hope i can pull this off...thanx guys

I am working on an intrepid. I am building a new box from the ground up to compliment the rear deck that i am fabricating with fiber. I would like to build a box to be able to port up through the deck and blow into the car. I will be using 2 12" ICONS. I have never designed a complex box before, so this is what I ask. What would be the best way to fire the subs, what should i do with the inside of this box, and HOW should i fire it up into the car? Any help would be appreciated, keep in mind that I am a box newbie. Patrick

Gettin ready to start on a new build. Will consist of: 15" Sundown Nightshade D2 Alphasonik 1000HCA (Possibly saz1500) All 1/0 Exide Orbital Deep Cycle Damplifier Pro will be installed on all doors and on hatch and on the floor from the back seats back. I have more for rest of truck but probably wont have time to get it all on at first. I want to be able to put up some good numbers on the TL so what kind of design you got for me? Should I do a slot port or aero? About what size box and tuned to what? Thanks 3 cu ft tuned to 36hz with 3 4" flares?

Kinda sad. Been looking to get into competing but all the organizations I have looked @(dBDrag, USACi, IASCA, and MECA) don't have comps around the Indiana area. All are in Ohio and what not. I don't mind traveling a state or so but why no shows in IN?

Ive got a sundown 3000 amp and a 300amp circuit breaker. ive been to a few comps and my circuit breaker has blown in some of my runs. Is it ok to run the system without the circuit breaker just for comps?
