whell i just wanted to see what people think about head units for spl use? what brand do you think is good ? ... im just a little confused because i went to some car show awhile back and soundstream was there and i heard their demo truck and i noticed that not everything they had was soundstream like the head unit was a kenwood and the EQ was another brand i just forgot what kind and i thought to myself woulndt they wanna use all their own kind of products ?? since soundstream makes head units

Not too shabby for $300. I must say, the gaskets are wonderful. They fit rather snug compared to the other drivers I've had. Manufacturers take note.

A few years ago we had just a ton of beautiful sunrises. I was blown away, so I started bringing my camera and taking pictures. These are overlooking one of my ponds. The first one is the pone in the daylight, so you have a reference:

I now this isn't the most impressive system in the word but I can not find a single picture or video of this model explorer with a after market system so here it is!

Decided to post some of the black and white photography that I have done in the past many years. Not much, just a taste. All were taken with a Nikon FE2. There is a lot of dust on this one from a bad scan, but after posting this picture other places, people said that they like the dust and advised me to just keep it how it is. I primarily shoot digital. Rarely do I mess with film. Thanks for looking!

ok well i don't have any good pics of how she started her life, so here's what the pic from springfield shows her as... first thing i did was lose the grips and get a different trigger.

got my first piece to my system today. picked up a few jl audio door speakers from my dude casey today. I have a brand new double din on the way as well as 2 10" OS american bass vfl under my rear seat on a OS kicker zr1000. heres the first pic for the install.

So I finally replaced my 8mp HTC Incredible 2 which I loved, and got the new Galaxy s4, and ofcourse I have been excited about a new camera. First impressions are that it has many features found in decent point and shoot cameras, the ability to adjust exposure, a 4x zoom and several shooting modes and color effects. The zoom is intuitive, the shutter response is very quick and the camera handles motion, and low light much better than any other cell phones I have used to date. THESE THINGS ARE HUGE! If you're looking for something with a small footprint, these are not it. Very visually appealing, and some awesome features. I'll elaborate more later.

yay for me! ruger mkIII w/ barska red dot. has a 5 moa dot when cranked up, a lil big, but it'll drive nails at 25yds and stay under 2" at 50yd. (off a rest fo course) not bad for a 60(maybe older) year old design and a cheapo optic, lol. what i see when it's pointing at some poor squirrel, or rabbit, or dog, or redneck idiot...well, maybe not the dog. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Well here is what ive been working on the past few months. Finally got all the body work done and had the car painted. Ive got most of the stereo going and just have to figure out what to do on the subwoofer. I dont want to add to much weight to the car. But im working with a MTX 81000D and looking to run either one big 12" or 2 10"s i do believe. I really dont want to spend more than $150 on the subs either..... Any input there wouls be greatly appreciated...... Pictures will be up in just a minute...

Anyone who guesses what drivers are going in it gets a big prize!

anyways!(copy & pasted) obviously they are not for everyone. i like them though. blends well with the car to me. before i put the rims on i measured all around the height of the car to from where the Jacking pioints are. after i put them on there was a 3/4" lift all the way around. so it really needs a drop. i'll get coilovers eventually but not now. i can live w/o them for the time being. oh yeah and my car is dirty. needs a wash. i should really clay bar it though.

I had a pretty good thread on Body INK going before the data loss. Lets get it going again. Please post pics of your ink and feel free to discuss others ink. Here are pics of my first tat. It is a Bass Clef and I definatley need to thank Fi for the logo from their website for the inspiration. The tat is all healed now, I just have not gotten any new pics. these are from about one day after I got it done.

Well guys, my setup consists so far of an Alpine CDA-9851, Elevation Audio DX1500.1, and an Elevation Audio 15" Execution. If you dont know about Elevation Audio, their site is www.elevatinaudio.com All I gotta say is that the Execution is amazing. It is a dual 2ohm sub and is being ran at 4ohm for now because my electrical system cant handle the amp being ran at 1ohm. The amp does like 700rms at 4ohm and will do 2000rms at 1ohm.... so you get the idea. Right now, it is in a ported box that has been given to me and it does really well in it. It is really loud even being powered by less than half of what the amp can put out!! Someone i know has an L7 in a 4.5ft3 port…
