Gonna start a new photo log, nuttin fancy it's a daily driver work truck. Eclipse 8455 already installed Excessive Amp's 250 amp alt already in w/new redtop Distro box on truck to be delivered today 35' of 1/0 from local welding shop (1.63 a foot - no wait time) Here is the good stuff: SoundStream Van Gogh 500.4: Seas Lotus Reference 6.5's and Alpine FX1T's: and the ole trusty rusty RF power 800: I am going to be switching out the Orion just to hear a comparasion on class D and A/B now that they aren't starving out on power consumption. I have the Orion bridged at 1 ohm (dual 2 ohm RL-p) pushing 1200+ watts, the Rockford will be breezing along at 4 ohm's and the…

Sunday night I had tickets to U2 at the Wacovia center in Philadelphia. Amanda had never been there, and since we are about 2 hours in traffic (1:25 at night no traffic). Keep in mind we took her civic DX, and I was fairly reserved in my driving which is a change. But anyway, since she had never been there I thought it would be a great experience to go up early and walk around town and see a few places before the concert. We got a later start than planned but, we walked well over 4 miles around down town. As you will see in the following pictures that the weather was awesome. We went through much of the historic distric and had a great lunch outside, I love takeing …

Since a good number of friends who work at or for a local club have seen and liked so many of my pictures they have me asked me to start taking pics of some of the people who work there, for their new website. That being said, I have always despised photoshop. I have always thought it gave the women a 'fake' look. Like they had been gang-banged by a sand monster since they were so grainy. Especially in high touch up areas (stomach, eye brows, cheeks) I'm looking for something that will give me the best editing abilities to remove fine lines, wrinkles, baby mama 'tiger stripes' (aka belly and tit stretch marks), and sharpen color on makeup. Has anyone used anything yet an…

Well how retarded am I? I get all my gear out to make sure it's gonna work together (I had bought it all but never hooked the peices together ); and I've been loving it the past two weeks..... but today it HITS me...... I bought the Pre-amp with the optional phono-stage and my parents have a vintage Marantz Turn table in a closet..... along with well over 200 albums from the golden era of rock n' roll!! Well I just busted that ole' P.O.S. out of the closet, dusted it off and stuck on some Dire Straits..... Hell Yes. I took a pic so as not to anger Tom or Supa or Jimbo or whomever might give a rat's ass.

Came home from the gym and this was sticking out of my mailbox. Wonder what could possibly be in there. You guys are crazy - thanks so much, I really needed a laugh and that definitely did it. Bonerman is going on our headboard. Probably go on vacation with us too. All I can say is that I am glad that I opened it

Yes, I've done that too. And don't worry, this was just for fun 05 xxx 18, 8 cubes @ 32 hz (this was the daily tune...we've changed the port for 45 hz now) and a whimpy Ground Zero amp (around 1.8kw). I think I used a 38Hz tone. The car was quite a crowd pleaser and the fun part was nobody at the comp played music. Today was just the warm-up and test session so we didn't care too much about the batteries. The doors flexed like hell. We tied them up today. Also duct taped the door seams. I hope we didn't shoot ourselfes in the leg with what we did to the car today...

Well, I decided to take my Elevation Audio Execution to competition this weekend and i would say i did pretty good. She hit 142.5db and i ended up taking second. It was is a box a little less that 3ft3 tuned to 45hz, but it was glassed to the tuning went up a little. Here are some pics guys, the top 6 are all recent upgrades and the box i used for competition. www.putfile.com/flyinonwater If i decide to compete some more next year, i will probably end up puting some sound deadener in there and try to find someone to find my Jeep's peak frequency so i can make a better box.

So some of you advanced users may know... or maybe even the amateurs too ... I'm trying to dig through my photos to see the metadata of them .. Basically I'm looking to find the most common focal length I happen to use my 16-80mm lens ... I want a prime and they are not so expensive but I'm torn between 35mm and 50mm which are both 1.8... On my camera those lens translate into roughly 52mm and 75mm since it's a cropped sensor. NOW .. understanding that, would it be better to use the 35mm as a go to lens for indoor shooting and nice close-ups because of the bokeh affect those lenses posses ... From what I've read the Sony 50mm 1.8 lens is apparently sharper than the 35mm a…

When I picked up this poor thing I had to re-solder the voice coil wires back on. It was really beat up and covered in liquid nails... yes liquid nails. I tossed it in the jeep and hooked it up to a class A 10.0 just to break balls and beat it up. Its surprisingly LOUD and takes all sorts of abuse. http://www.jordanpolizzi.com/temp/spl12.wmv
