I am currently building a wall for a customer at the shop that is going to house a XXX 18 with two sealed 12" re series woofers for mid bass (customer insisted this not me). Here are some pictures of my progress. Net volume is 16 cubic feet with 160 square inches of port. Amplifiers consist of a USamps MD3D for the 18 an MD1D for both 12" woofers Elecitrical is lacking (KHC2400/1800/600) - customer ran out of money though, After all the other items he purchased for the install it came out to be over 17000 dollars.

Im helping a friend build some fiberglass door panels for his 93 nissan hardbody. I don't like the design or the equipment he's using but it's his truck and im just there to help him get them looking decent. He's doing 4 5.25" dayton mids, 4 audiopipe tweeters, and an autotek 4 ch amp in each door. He picked up all the equipment for just over $300 new. On to the pics... here's some pics of the truck

Well guys, my friend and I spent 9 - 10 hours fixing my baby today. We put on headers and high-flow cats, replaced the water pump, optispark, spark plug wires, and spark plugs, deleted the air pump, and did an oil change. I know I could never show myself around here again if I didn't get pics so here ya go: Some random parts: The headers, cats, and gaskets: Taking the old crap off: Is it just me or does this look a lot like blood? The underside: Another view of the underside: All the old stuff off of the block: Exhaust ports: The new water pump and optispark gaskets installed: That wonderful piss-yellow do hickey: Headers and spark plug wires in place: Bottom …

I got so sick and tired and fed up, irritated with everyones obsession with looks, asthetics, cosmetics. It's all about the sound and cheap cheap cheap to me. I got carried away with the walmart red, silver, and gold spray paint. Brandy got me 10 cans of walmart black paint for my birthday so i could paint it all back...and I am very pleased. It is very sloppy, very cheap, but it is black sloppy, better than gold silver and red sloppy! Before: (havent painted the doors yet, may leave them red) hard to see, but the front of the false ceiling is red, and I left that too! My daughter Heather peeling gold spray painted resin from the port... I will focus more on the…

Picked her up Thursday night! I'll get more pics when it isn't raining =). This car turns head like nothing I've seen before. Plans include the Go-wing, HIDs, true duals, 5% tint, carbon fiber trim interior pieces, door sills, chrome tank, new stereo, and rims =D. Got her tinted today, so more pics later.

I just purchased a 540i/6 today and I am soooooooooooooooooo excited. This car is amazing. It is a 99 blk on blk 6 spd with xenons and only 50k miles. I got it for $20,500 and I am absolutely loving it. I am somewhat of a novice with stick, so starting is a little rough still but once I am out of first I can make this thing fly! Now for what you all want to see

so pretty much i was planning on doing both my w7 10s on 2 jl 500/1s..... but things have changed. my buddy had bought a brand new zcon (which came last week) and due to a number of car robberies in his apartment area, he did not want a big system, just something small and stealthy. so we worked out a deal for one w7 and amp for his new zcon 18.... good shit lol. i then traded my other w7 10 for the ab vfl150.1. as for the box, im taking my box i had both my hcca 15s in (7.5 cubes tuned to 31hz) carpeting in black and putting a new face on it for 1 18. should get loud and loww here are a few pics of sub and amp. box should be done tomorrow. more pics to come

After seeing bigjon and Danielle's new puppy, I thought it would be fun to share a few pics of my furry friends. Here is our little girl Maude at 2 months, we picked her at 2 weeks and she has been fantastic - At about 3 months - Here's one of her guarding some of the goods (only the alt. and batteries actually made it into the build) - Photobucket is acting up, I'll post more when it decides to work. I know there are many four legged family members here at SSA, feel free to share some shots of your very own foot warmers.

A customer came in to show me his new speakers, ScanSpeak Illuminators..small format tweeters, 4 inch midrange and 7 inch midbass. Very cool looking speakers, I hope they perform well When looking at the motor I noticed it's held on by 3 torx screws, on both the midrange and the midbass...so why not open them up and take some interesting pics ? Plus I always wanted to see the insides of a Scan motor Midrange: Midbass:

sorry about the crappy pics but i can't move the sun and mom's digi cam sucks(or maybe i don't know how to use it). The plan is to actually have it in the fiero by this evening. We will see how that goes. these next two are just of the 3800 hanging gracefully on it's hoist. These two are of the old cradle, first showing rust, 2nd showing where it was dented and twisted. these two show the new cradle with the welded on mounting plates. (note that little hump covered in plastic is the old engine, i'll be taking some pieces off of it later just to throw them on ebay.) had to block out my super secret secrets

Well, my little brother has done it again. He managed to flip and roll his car this time though. On his way to my house last night to pick up his dog that we were doggy sitting for him after closing and getting off work and going by the good 'ol Wally World to grab a few things he turned onto a gravel road swerved to miss a few deer and managed to do this only a couple of miles from my house. Luckily he wasn't injured any worse than a bump on the head and he'll have some nice bruises to show for it. The car came to rest on the driver's side and he crawled out the opening for the rear window and called me. I rushed immediately to him and when I was satisfied he wasn't…
