As I mentioned, I wanted to created a thread for photography/videography for members to post whatever they want relating to the subject... i.e. lenses, camera bodies, accessories, software and general questions and opinions on the matter. I'll start off with my new edition or new upgrade rather: Sony a7m2

Figured I would share a few photos of a couple trucks I have had at the house. Me and a friend kinda go in and buy these old trucks and make them unique. The Studebaker is one of my favorite yet. It has really old copper riveted in areas and really makes it unique. Love the hood ornament here is the 54 Chevy tucked away in my garage. Love this pic

So I finally replaced my 8mp HTC Incredible 2 which I loved, and got the new Galaxy s4, and ofcourse I have been excited about a new camera. First impressions are that it has many features found in decent point and shoot cameras, the ability to adjust exposure, a 4x zoom and several shooting modes and color effects. The zoom is intuitive, the shutter response is very quick and the camera handles motion, and low light much better than any other cell phones I have used to date. Here are a couple of unedited pictures taken by my phone, just to give you an idea of the versatility of the camera. These pictures, except for the second one were taken using just the a…

So some of you advanced users may know... or maybe even the amateurs too ... I'm trying to dig through my photos to see the metadata of them .. Basically I'm looking to find the most common focal length I happen to use my 16-80mm lens ... I want a prime and they are not so expensive but I'm torn between 35mm and 50mm which are both 1.8... On my camera those lens translate into roughly 52mm and 75mm since it's a cropped sensor. NOW .. understanding that, would it be better to use the 35mm as a go to lens for indoor shooting and nice close-ups because of the bokeh affect those lenses posses ... From what I've read the Sony 50mm 1.8 lens is apparently sharper than the 35mm a…

Damn! It was a good show. It was awesome chatting it up with all you guys. No trophies for me. :/ I was bestowed the honorary "Rocked the fhawk out" by the Oklahoma crew. They don't call them guys OK for nothing. Thanks fellas. I did get some great tuning tips from one of the Houston Boys, Chad. Awesome dude, thanks for the tips. Well I'm gonna try to keep this thread alive by posting some pics. So here goes. Chad's (southside) Acura out to dominate the world of SQ Nice and clean trunk install. I didn't get a chance to listen this time around, but there is no doubt this is one nice sounding car. I came across this sinister Tundra done up by the crew at Mobile Toys…

Picked this up today from Steve at AmpMedics. Traded the previous owner my Skar Sk85.4 and paid Steve the $220 repair bill. Had a full ovehaul. Changed fets, drive board, and power supply! Having Robin at BHE build me a set of double stack Fi Q motors into 12's with PSI Soft parts next month to run on this bad boy. Can' wait! And my Q motors. (Yes I know one has cooling option and one don't. Both NDMstang65 and David from PSI have given the OK to run them as a pair.)
