US AMPS

ok...got all ready to turn on the 600x I just got...did....nothing...then looked at it again....no remote turn on terminal...where does the wire go to turn it on.... the manual online doesnt show anything on the amp connected to the remote wire off the deck...or else I am not getting the obvious...haha.. cant believe I have to ask this...

i could get an older usa-5600x for a good price, should i get htat, or save up for an ax5600?

i have 2 RE SR 10 D4's so which us amp do i need? i might do eight later. The set up is in a 97 S-10 blazer so i have some room. what kind of current draw should i expect? my blazer is all blacked out so black would be sweet but what ever works...

I've seen the specs for both and was wondering what justified the extra money for less watts on the AX2000HC (2400 watts) vs. AX3000DE (3000 watts). I know they HC is for high current (down to .5 ohms) but is there something else I'm missing?

Ok so i'm changing the substage again. I also changed jobs. I work for a shop now that sells mostly cadence and RE/US Amps. Mainly RE for subs and cadence for mids and highs. So i'm looking at a system rebuild. Probably XXX comps for my Mids and hi's I only have a front stage. Gonna leave the Sundown SAX100.4 on them for the time being. So heres where it boils down. I'm looking to make some NOISE minimum 150s but be able to blend them into the system as well for daily driving. I'm looking at either 2 SX 10s or possibly 1 XXX or MX 12. I must voice my happieness!! My Amp search is all done and Mmmm it sounds so so good lol! Lets hope. I have 2 of these amps and 2 are still on the way. Here is what I ended up with... US Amps USA-50 for Tweeters US Amps USA-400x For 5.25's Midrange US Amps USA-600x for 8" Midbass US Amps USA-300x For 12" subwoofer I was able to get all the X series amps in Chrome so they will all match. The USA-50 is older and did not come in Chrome, so its purple. I plan to install circuit board up, so it should not be that big of a deal. Hi guys I just thought I would ask here to save Flakko from too many more of my Pms : XT-1600.2 / IS 2200: Are these pretty much the same (internal wise)? I keep being told by various people that the XT are brilliant but will not hold up like the other USamps will, do they mean that in a 'you can't play them in to lower loads than recommended as well', or is it a 'they are going to die on me before the other would under normal useage'? MD22: Hows comes they stopped this? Was there somethign wrong with the design? Is it worth spending the extra on the MD22 over the above XT if they're going to be under normal useage? hi, i am going to be getting a XT-1600.4 in a month or so and i am going to be putting it in a false floor and i notice that it has fins and i am wondering are they for looks or do they serve as the heat sink like jl's. because i need to know where to focus the fans on since it will have pexiglass over it but i will try to make the flase floor as breathable as possable. and does it make 180 at 2 ohm right. and also i saw that the input goes up to 6 volt but i was planing on using a line driver because i dont want to spend alot of getting longer rca's/ and most line drivers arre atleast 8 volts

I have trying to compare the MD.1D and the XT-2000D for a Q15 I hope to be getting soon and other than the price, I haven't been able to tell the difference. They put out the same power and the other specs I have seen have been comparable. So why the difference in price? Also, is it correct that each of these amps put out 1200W. The US Amps site says 1200W for each, but I have seen some say 1000W, some say 1050W, so I don't know what to think. Thanks for the help guys.

Now I am not going to point fingers at us amps quality because it is probably me doing something wrong. Anywho, I have a us amps xt1600.4 runnning focal polykevlar 5.25" components. I have the focals in stock door locations with the tweeters mounted on the pillars. The xt1600.4 has a .5 farad cap on it. I have not yet fine tuned the gains because i have not had the chance but they are roughly set. I expected this combo to blow me away, but it is not any better than the old boston component set I had running off the HU. My question is: Could the gains need to be changed, I mean, can that cause distortion? also, I have some sub par rca's from scosche. Could that be it? Last…

Hy, on my XT4000 box it says CEA, is it CEA rated? It is an US Amps, not the new RE Audio XT4000.1. I want the CEA ratings for this amp please.

I recently installed a 1600.2 in a PUG 206 1.6 .Τhe amp was running 8 8" Celestion truvox 8Ω mids. (4 per channel) so the nominal impedance per channel was 2Ω .The amp is a true beast despite the small size.It rocked the mids like hell,but when i turned it off it popped with a quite annoying noise...I checked the wiring,reset the source unit (Alpine CDA 9835) replaced the RCAs, the power/ground cable the speaker cable and retested.Νο improvement .Still the amp kept popping when i turned it off.I raised the impedance to 4Ω/channel and the popping disappeared!Retested again at 2Ω and it came back At one last attempt i swapped the amp with another 1600.2 and it did the sam…

i heard my 1st re sub the other day. it was the 18 xxx from 2007 i believe and it was running off a saz3500 in a 7.5 cube ft box. i must say im glad that i wasnt the one that paid for it. imo big disappointment. the guy that owned it actually took it out and put his set of 12inch rockford p2s back in his car then put the sub on craigslist for half of what he paid for it 2 days after buying it
