US AMPS

When is US amps going to update the web site? I hate the one thats up now? Can we call and make a complaint? lol

The updated USAmps.com website is up. It is missing some info and some specs, and that video of the girl talking about the amps is gone. Very attractive site, just needs much more data still. Edit, I just found the TeamSSAudio.com link still up, it is under the partners button.

I saw a bunch on ebay and some are cheap and small. I need a small amp to go under seat. I just dont know anything about the US AMPS in the last few years.

JR would probably be able to answer best... but, does USAmps have any flawed heatsinks for the Xterminator series? I would love to get my hands on one so I could make an amplifier linking piece for my 2000d & 1600.4

Picking some up this weekend, just need some info on them in terms of SQ, output as its been debated on forums and I am totally clueless with Usamp amps as I have been a Trutech Hammer fan all my life. Any info/views ?

I just recently got a US Amps VLX-200 and I'm working on a USA-150. I really liked these old amps from the first time I saw a USA-400. What I wanted to know was, is there anywhere I can get information on these amps (like a website). Also how hard are these on electrical systems? I'm going to be running two amps and a XM-6 Crossover and I'm concerned with my setup. I have the 3 big in 1/0, 140 amp alt. and a really good wet cell. I didn't really dimm @ full volume with a Sundown 1500D and a small four channel, but the VLX is huge. Well LMK guys.

Does anyone know where I can get the older model Merlins at? im looking for a MD42, I tried checking ebay but they only have a MD41 up 4 sale.Im probably plain old S.O.L. but it doesnt hurt to as. So does anyone got any for sale or know where I can find me one. I would like one preferably new but used is fine as well.

hi folks i have this amp since 99 and has been through various installs, but i never knew the tru output of this beast. it is rated at 1200w @12.8 i think but i have recently found that the power is unregulated so i guess the more power you have to feed it the more watts you get. anyone know the the tru power in numbers?

This amp has been custom modified by Dirk to do about 7000w @ 15volts. The SAT has been disabled to allow 1.5 ohm safe running or lower with a good power supply. I have always regretted selling my 2 US amps T700's and when I got the chance to buy a 400x & 600x I took it....I havnt got them yet but I was wanting to run them like so... 400x bridged and running a JL Audio 10inch..model # unknown...its in a wedge box they made as a unit I think.... 600x running 4 coaxials for a 2ohm load.... or should I swap them around? I dont want the sub to overpower the entire system...and I dont want to add another amp either... what you guys think? these are still good amps made in USA I hope .......I know US AMPS has undergone many changes....

Just ordered a new XT2000d from flakko for a pair of ascendant audio arsenal 10's i have on the way. i love the no bs looks of the xterminator, huge step up from the heatsink on the is imo.

the screws on my amp are all rusted, some of them are warn down. i've been looking around for some philslot screws the ones with the square to grab on to the wire, but i've only found some overpriced ebay ones. anyone know an online store that has them cheap?

What size wire should i use for this amp. I will be running it @ 1ohm to two rl-i10's. USamps website says 1200rms @ 1ohm, but I've read here that its 800rms @ 1 ohm. Thanks Ben

Hey I have a US Amps MD2D that the remote wire screw on it happened to break off in the hole that you screw it into. I was wondering how would I go about replacing the power ground remote block for it and how much that would cost. The amp was bought from an authorized seller at the time around 2 and 1/2 years ago. Its a 2005/6 model.

I have this amp and it worked well until i let my friend borrow then i got it back and it doesnt produce any sound. The first thing i noticed when i turn it on is that it makes a clicking noise. I know what makes the noise its the black peice in the picture. it powers up but no sound comes out. What is THE piece and has anyone had this problem also is it fixable? I also noticed that if i set the input voltage to 9.6volts it wont make the sound, but when i turn it up above 9.7 it clicks. even at 9.6 volts it won't work. Also it only makes one click like a fuse and makes it when i turn it off. Also the little white thing in between the 2 big black circles, i dont know what…

To get the best sound what is the difference of gain from 15 HZ to 40Hz. Putting the gains clockwise would be the best choice right, closer towards 40 hz. Do to the type of of install I have it is very difficult to work on my gains.My space is limited to work with.

Are these amps 2 or 1 ohm mono stable or would I be pushing it. I believe the 150x puts out 500x1 at 4 ohm bridged. Can I bridge it down further to 2 ohms or am I asking for trouble. Any input is greatly appreciated. I was also considering using the us amps optimizer with these amps. The 100x would power boston pro60 3 ohm speakers in stereo. The 100 would power boston pro6.5 in the rear in either stereo or mono, probably stereo. I was looking at picking up a 8'' sub and running it at 2 ohms off the 150x. Maybe a 8w7(3ohm i think), tc sound, fi, or soundsplinter. Am I asking for trouble? or can these works of art handle these loads all day long? This is all going…
