I just wanted to say thank you Jacob for your exceptional customer service and especially for what you did for me on Friday. I was not expecting that at all. I will always remember that. You have a customer for life my friend. I cannot wait to see the new shop once everything is in place.

Well, like I have posted, I won the DB Drag Class B at Michigan Tech today with a 143.6 and also won the amateur Sound Qullity competition. Just wanted to say I love my Sundown amps, you definitely have a long term customer in me I also recommend your amps whenever possible and also sport the Sundown Audio sticker on my Jimmy. http://img532.imageshack.us/my.php?image=mvi2330nw6.flv http://img532.imageshack.us/my.php?image=mvi2331mu7.flv http://img532.imageshack.us/my.php?image=mvi2332wc2.flv http://img532.imageshack.us/my.php?image=mvi2334gd8.flv

Just wanted to say thanks to Jacob for this B Stock 15" Nightshade. Came in about 1 day, and UPS managed to get it here in one piece(which isnt always the case). Its def one of the larger drivers i have seen 1st hand. It'll be going in a box slightly under 4cuft tuned to 40hz for spl off a SAZ 1500D. Ill follow up with a review in the following days. Here are a couple pics i took right out of the box. Again thanks Jacob.

I usually dont go out of my way to make these threads but I have to say I am utterly embarrassed by Sundowns lack of ANY customer service. I have dealt with Jacob directly about 5 years ago when ordering my first Sundown amplifiers and have nothing but great things to say about how he treated me as a customer. Fast forward 5 years to today and I am a dealer for Sundown. Im not going to go into how their high shipping costs coupled with their low online pricing makes it IMPOSSIBLE to make a profit on their products and still be competitive. Rather, I want to bring up how utterly non-existent their customer service is. We ordered a pair of Nightshade 18" for a c…

I was able to dig up the old 0.5 ohm warranty coverage thread through a Google search using their "Cached" feature. Cheap mass storage is a glorious thing. That is all

Started in on the install.. Wish I had more ground cable, we decided to do multiple runs and I don't have enough grey/silver since we used some for more power wire.. doh. It'll all be hidden anyway. Lots more to do (probably a couple more days worth).. I'll keep the pics coming.

This is the latest (and hopefully last) redux of my F-150. The equipment going in this time from front to back are a Pioneer AVH-P4000 DVD, Audiocontrol Epicenter, DQXS and Matrixes (x2), 10 Oxygen Audio Component Speakers (Air 83 set with a 6.5 midrange replacing the 8" woofer in the front doors and just a tweet and the 6.5 midrange for the rear), 2 Sundown Audio 100.4s driving the Mids and Highs, 2 Sundown Audio Nightshade 18s and 2 Sundown Audio 3000Ds breathing life into the subs. 1 Iraggi 300 amp alternator, Powermaster batts (1 2700 and 2 3100s) all Knukonceptz wiring. I will apologize for the lack of pictures my camera was lost and it contained about 2/3 of my buil…

Decided to finally get started on it. The Jeep will be getting a no-wall 4th order build with two 15s. * Battery / Amp Rack area cleaned out... everything un-installed. My multi-channels will sit on those two little platforms where the batteries used to be. * New floor piece cut - everything will attach to this piece. * Of course XS Power D1600s will be used --- That is all for now... just ripped it all out this morning and Brandon helped me cut out the floor piece. Will make progress when time allows.

It may be alive again... drove it around a bit today with no issues. So far we have changed: Coil Rotor button Camshaft position sensor Crankshaft position sensor Going to drive it around a few days to see if I'm comfortable taking it to Whiteville, NC for nSPL clamped power classes Then the real no-wall build will probably start after that.

Jacob, from what I have seen you post in the past couple weeks on the new sub, it sounds like you are planning on making it for more of a ported/spl/ high power app? If so, I have an idea which you may or may not like. I suggest that you make 2 versions of it, 1 for the ported/spl crowd, and another that is totally for the small sealed crowd. I don't know if it's possible to do with the same motor and just a soft parts swap.. call 1 the p8, and one the s8. I have 8 of your e8's and I like them, but wish they had more power handling in a small sealed app. They do tend to bottom fairly easily when you get some power to them, in the recced enclosure. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, …

Okay so I have the low end figured out, but for the mids and highs I haven't decided. I figured since I already have Kicker 6 x 9's I'd go with some Kicker 6 1/2" for the doors and some 1" tweets. I think the SAX 50.4 would be a good buy. My low end will be (2) of the SA-12's powered by the SAZ-2000D. Will the mids and highs keep up with the low end or should I go bigger?

After nearly four years as our best selling product (our first Class-D on the market for that matter) the SAZ-1500D is being re-designed. Everyone knows and loves the current model as it is a powerful, reliable, work horse of an amp but we have been quietly thinking about what to do in order to make a fitting replacement for a while now... I think that everyone will be happy with where it is going Details will be sparse right now but it is going to shrink about 1.6" following our trend of making amps that are more powerful per square inch (SAZ-2500D and SAX-1200D especially). We are also looking into removing the internal fusing as well -- that was very commonly reques…
